There were some issues. On a positive note, food was very good overall...chicken parm and eggplant rolls w ricotta ...the... eggplant dish was only listed on the website...could not find on menu at table and waiter had to confirm with the owner. Thisshould be fixed However, to start the experience, we followed the hostess ... she just 'tossed' menus on the table, kept going,so never bothered to seat us properly. Not a good way to demonstrate hospitality. This was a special birthday dinner for myfiance and we have been to the restaurant before with no issues. The table was sticky and the floor under at least one side ofour table appeared to be slippery ...but not an issue on the main floor at least. Really, clean the tables before guests areseated! Regular drinks were limited...no ginger ale or root beer for ex. End of meal no regular coffee available..onlyespresso and cappuccino No special comp birthday dessert but waiter nice and had lighted candle w dessert brought to ourtable More attention to detail would be a better overall experience. I ordered a small vegie pizza for 17.99. The tomato sauce was watered down, the veggies were not cooked. When I moved the... toppings back the dough was raw. I know they're not the owners of the 90s. 1st time there, Sat down, ok so No Complimentary Bread. Then no Soup or salad with dinner. Ok so I order Veal Parm dinner comes... with Spaghetti. I ask for Garlic n Oil on Spaghetti, told no Can Do. It's to much work. Its Funny on their Shirt it says "BeWise don't eat Franchise " well at All the Italian Franchises I've been too, it's Never been a Problem. Had my first trip here and honestly felt like the crust was a frozen one(based on how it looked and the holes imprinted) and the... pizza overall had zero taste to it. Salt was definitely needed and the meat topping we ordered was pretty much nonexistent butthey definitely charged 25.00 for 4 topping large pizza? . My date said she'd prefer dominos to this which is tough for me tosay seeing as I've never been but I definitely feel like we wasted 25 bucks that we could have used for something better. Family-owned and local, this is our regular Italian dinner choice. Delicious and fresh every time. Try any of their soups and... definitely both of their house-made dressings, Creamy Italian and Peppercorn Ranch. We have also had the lovely owner suggestwine pairings that have become some of our very favorites. While we regularly get the eggplant rollatini and pasta ala vodkawith soup and salads, there is nothing that we have ever ordered that has made it past breakfast leftovers. They deliver, too!
