Shrimp was salty, drink was good..need more shade around the tables, otherwise, it was nice

Kids absolutely love this place for some reason. I?ve had the Salmon twice here, excellent both times. Nice atmosphere, decent... live music on occasion, decent drink selection, and overall good vibe. Pet-Friendly on the Patio (however, the hostess made it sound like they also may be pet-friendly inside? I didn't ask to... confirm), which has a great view of the marina and yachts as far as the eye can see. The Pina Coladas were a hit, as well astheir bourbon selection. Started off with the Little Neck Clams, which were very smoky and earthy, but flavorful. Added a SmallChicken Caesar salad which-if the small was as big as it was, the large size would be MASSIVE! It was still nicely put together,so it would make for a fine meal on its own. Wife got the Honey Garlic Salmon with Roasted Potatoes-these things were huge!Perfectly roasted potatoes, but best to eat the Salmon in a separate bite so you can fully savor its flavor. I went with theBlackened Grouper Sandwich; while good, it got kind of messy to hold with the Cajun Ranch Slaw on the bottom bun. Might havebeen better to have the slaw as a side. We had an issue with one of the dishes, but the waiter (Adrian) made it right with noquestions asked, which we appreciated. Like most places in and around Cape Coral, the outside dining is always spectacular. The Nauti Mermaid is no exception. The... food here was yummy! My whole tribe ordered the same meal: spicy honey chicken sliders with a side of fries. We ate nearly everybite. The chicken had a crispy coating and was drizzled with a spicy honey. The fries were ok... We came during lunch and itwasn't terribly crowded, but service was slow. I was about to get up and track down our server to get our check to pay our billwhen she came by. Wehada great lunch. We sat outside on the patio. It was nice in the shade with a good breeze. We were so thankful to be able to... eat before the storm came in. I had the Mahi Mahi tacos and my husband had the braised short rib flatbread. The tacos were bigand yummy. The flat bread was good and filling. Read more

I really like this place! They have an awesome outdoor patio or bar seating. They have live music some nights and the food is... actually really good. Their menu is very limited but the fish tacos are incredible and the flat bread is pretty good aswell. Beautiful place to watch a sunset and enjoy the weather outside. Read more
