The BEST Lobster Roll I have ever had. This was my first time to Maine and I researched which rolls to try and ended up trying... about 4 or 5 different places and this was my favorite (Maine style, cold). Super fresh and tender lobster, amazingly warm, crispy, and buttery roll. Amazing location as well with the lighthouse and stunning coast right there. Bonus points for theirdeliciously sticky and yummy whoopie pie. Priced about the same as others, though I went with the 6oz size which was the largestroll I have had and I have NO regrets, they load it up REAL well. Read more

The Bite into Maine food truck at Portland Head offers delicious lobster rolls and a fabulous location. Take in views of the... lighthouse and shoreline while enjoying perfectly prepared lobster rolls. However, it was an expensive New England experience. The 4 of us ordered 3 traditional Maine lobster rolls and 1 larger Connecticut style. Each is served with potato chips. Add in 4sodas and be ready to spend about $150 (pre-tip). The native Mainers in our group were a bit surprised with the cost. Everyoneagreed the food and location were outstanding. Read more

Great experience. First time in Maine and first time trying a lobster roll. I went with the traditional Maine style, my husband... ordered the Chipotle one and our friend ordered the Connecticut style. Beautiful presentation! The one I ordered was not bad,but I think I would prefer the Connecticut one if I were to try again. Read more

This place was super yummy. We found this little spot by recommendation from a food blogger. The lobster was so much better... quality than what we are used to in FL. We tried the Connecticut style and the Maine style.. both were good!! The blueberry sodawas amazing! Read more

Place opens up at 11 AM and had lines for up to an hour. After that, no waiting. Orders were filled fast and staff was... friendly. As for the food, don't skimp out on getting a lobster roll. You have a choice of 4.5 oz or a 6 oz, and I recommendthe 6 oz. The Maine style is popular, the Connecticut with butter is my favorite, and the Japanese curry flavor is unique. ThisBite into Maine food truck was the highlight of visiting the lighthouse area. Don't miss out, get your order in, definitelyworth it. Read more

Bite into Maine has a large variety lobster roll flavors. We tried a variety and I still prefer the old standard with warm... butter. The other flavors, like wasabi and curry, are added to mayo and are very mild. They do not overwhelm the subtlelobster flavor, but the do not enhance it like warm butter. Two lobster rolls and two cokes with tax and tip came to 93dollars. The number of picnic tables is tiny, all in the sun. Best to bring your own chairs and you can use the tray as thetable surface on your lap. Bite into Maine is located in the second parking lot from the entrance on the right. Read more

I had the Maine style. They have two sizes the smaller one is plenty comes with a few chips. I was pleased to find no lines. I... think the lobster could have been a bit better but I'm pretty spoiled as I tend to get lobster fresh of the boats in Maine. ButI would say this is still one of the better lobster rolls I've had. For sure check it out if your in the area I would be happyto go back. Read more

Lobster roll was fine for me, they had multiple awards/recognition as what one of the signages said. Price was higher compared... to other places. Service was good. Line was piling up compared to the two other foodtrucks near the head light. Serving size isokay in line with its price. Read more
