John was our waiter and I give him 10 stars out of 5. He was Amazing!! 2/3 of our food was good. BUT, we were at the Axe... throwing. ???? there were 3 of us. We had 4 axes, and after we had only thrown part of our axes, she said we were finished. Ihad only thrown 8 at that point. The other 2 in our group threw 12. You pay for 15. We told her we hadn't thrown 15 and sheargued with us and said we picked up axes 4 times. We DIDN'T. It ruined the whole night. ???? it was frustrating andunnecessary. There weren't other people waiting. It wouldn't have cost them anything to let us finish our rounds, what we paidfor! Additionally, she was rude and nonchalant about it. Five stars for the food, 4 for the ambiance. The burgers and chicken sliders were both excellent and the fries are a cut above... the usual. The prices for both food and games were a little on the high side for this type of establishment, but our server,Miara, was excellent and took great care of us, plus we had a few leftovers to bring home, so all in all, a great choice. I’ve been to Dogwood several times since it opened a few years ago. My most recent visit was last week, I ordered the... quesadilla but was not impressed. However in the past, the food has been pretty good. To drink, I ordered the Peach PartyBucket and it was phenomenal! The drinks at Dogwood are better than most bars. The beer wall is really fun, I like trying thedifferent beers throughout the night. The arcade, bowling, ax throwing, and other games are so much. Dogwood is a great placeto bring your family for a day of fun. Also a great place to watch a sports game. The patio outside is really nice too. OverallI really like Dogwood and think it’s one of the more well established places in Cape. Read more
First time here..We meet some friends here and had a great time. The food was good and the price wasn't bad. We didn't drink... alcohol but i heard it is kinda pricey.. The only couple of things I wasn't happy with was I bought a game card for the arcadegames. There was a sign on the wall and the machine itself said if you bought a $25 card you got $10 free so you got a $35 card.Well that's what I bought. The first time I used it my wife noticed it didn't give us the extra $10. We went up to the counterand the girl working there really didn't like her job lol. She just said well it should have gave you it. I told her it didn'tand she did take the card and said it wasn't there. Then she gave the card back and said she fixed it. Well she didn't fix it.At that point I was like whatever. Then some of the games took your money but didn't work. So as far as the arcade area use atyour own risk. I feel they rip you off and in my experience the staff really don't care. Other than that it looks like a greatplace to hang out with friends. Read more
Messed my order up out the gate... And the food wasn't the best but it really wasn't bad either. Great place for a family... experience... Drinks food and games. Everything from arcade games to billiards, air hockey, shuffle board, axe throwing, bigblock Jenga, darts, the list goes on. Prices are fair.. atmosphere is awesome. Indefinitely recommend it. Food was horrible. Burgers and fries were luke warm and burgers tasted like soy burgers that had been sitting in a warmer all... day. Also messed up on order and figured out we got overcharged as 3 burgers with fries, 3 beers with a tip should not havecost us 85.00 with a tip. Bill was never broken down so we could see what we were being charged. Have never been to arestaurant that tried to hide their charges from their customers. Complete rip off and scam and would never recommend toanyone!!! Read more
