Other customers got their food before we did and they arrived way after we\'d been there. Wasn\'t busy, took over an hour to get... our food. Didn\'t get everything we ordered. Never got our side of mac & cheese. Fries were soggy, not fresh, chicken wings weregood but small. Let our drinks run empty before refilling with tea instead of Coke. Never refilled our water. Service washorrible and our waitress sucked! Definitely had an attitude with us and gave other tables extra attention. Read more

We went for our anniversary lunch and everything was ok. Service was ok. Food was ok. Hubby had the prime rib sammy and onion... rings. He paid extra for cheese and peppers. The cheese was invisible and there maybe was a tablespoon of peppers. The primerib was thick cut not shaved as explained by our server. I had the catfish and potatoes. The only winner was the catfish. Itwas tasty. The place is old and needs a good cleaning. A lot of dust bunnies on the ceiling just waiting to drop in your food. Our server was nice just didn\'t check on us very much. We didn\'t have our drinks refilled for the longest time. So we were sat quickly and we were accommodated when we added an extra person to the table. That\'s where the good stopped. We... were barely waited on in the nearly hour and 45 mins it took to get our food. When it finally came it out was cold. I sent someback and then just said I didn\'t want a replacement, as I feared it would take another hour to get it. I saw many people comeand go, getting their food and leaving, while we were sitting wondering where our server was. Eventually I had to go to thefront, and ask where our food and server was. I go to Port Cape every time I visit Cape Girardeau. I have to get the Bellaire potatoes. So good! This time I got the flat top... burger lunch special. It was excellent! Service is always so nice and love the old bar atmosphere. Must visit! Read more
