I am not one to write reviews but after looking to make my second reservation there and seeing that there had been a couple... reviews that did not at all convey what the experience at Jardin is like I simply had to share mine.\nMy girlfriend and I hatehere last summer. It was one of the most beautiful, interesting, and delicious experiences that you can have in Cape May, oranywhere else for that matter. This establishment does not only have absolutely fantastic food but also immerses you in anentire evening of incredibly curated dishes, impeccable service and exceptionally knowledge, professional and friendly staff.Between the tasteful interior both in design and style, and the porch music prior to our seating, there is nothing that couldhave been better. The chef takes the time to plan the dishes perfectly, and though it isn?t fully vegan they appear to offer afully vegan experience upon request. Just fantastic, I have recommended this restaurant to practically everyone who comes toCape May. Simply fantastic.\nFive stars doesn?t do it justice. Read more

One of the most amazing culinary experiences we have ever had. All food is expertly prepared, many dishes are vegan including... the lavender butter, brie and Bleu cheese, all foods are locally sourced, in season and presented by wonderful staff who explaineach dish. The meal is 9 courses and worth every cent for such a delightful special occasion. Chef Michael puts his heart intoeach dish with amazing craftsmanship. My husband and I celebrated our birthdays and anniversary, which staff made us feel likeroyalty. We had a choice of seats which we choose to experience outside on the veranda. Loved every meal and definitely willreturn. Read more

One of the most fun meals we\'ve had in a long time. The service was as good as any we\'ve ever had - friendly & attentive but... not intrusive. The playful nature of the dishes makes each one memorable, even if some are better than others. It reminds meof Laurel when it first opened - exciting and engaging, with some home runs and some items you can envision reimagined. Thisrestaurant would be buzzed about in Philly or NY, which is a nice change of pace for the Cape May restaurant scene. ChefMichael has done an amazing job creating such a delicious progression so soon after opening. We can\'t wait to go back and seehow the menu evolves. Highly recommend if you enjoy the tasting menu experience. Read more

Celebrated my wife?s birthday at Jardin. It was recommended by a local friend who said it was a real Foodie place. It certainly... was a Foodie delight. Frankly this place reminds me of a lot of those little, out of the way, Michelin rated places in Europe. It is housed in a lovely Victorian B&B. Before dinner We were invited to have a free glass of Prosecco in a sitting room, by theowners( never met them before and we had no common friends). They sat and talked with us about the restaurant, themselves, andCape May. The dinning room is small but has lots of windows. The table was beautifully set, blue tinted glassware, orangecolored flowers and a candle. One server for the room. She was a delight. Experienced and knowledgeable about all theingredients in each item on the plate. No dairy used in anything. Innovative food, locally sourced, often organic andeco-friendly.The salt they used is their house made, Cape May ocean water, sea salt. Every course was lite and a delight. Notonly did the chef , Micheal Schultz, visit every table, he invited us in for a masked tour of his pristine kitchen( where we mettheir amazing Sous chef). I asked chef Shultz where he had worked previously. My jaw dropped when he named some of the bestrestaurants in the country. This place is really special! Read more

We had the pleasure of dining at Jardin on their opening weekend, and must say this was truly an experience! From the amazing,... unique food to the outstanding service, Jardin fits in beautifully with the Cape May fine dining scene. The 9-course prix-fixemeal was paced perfectly, and the intimate setting ensures each guest receives personal attention from both the host and thechef himself. The food itself was delicate and inventive, beautifully plated, and perfectly proportioned. Overall, anoutstanding experience in a quiet adult setting. Will definitely be back! Read more
