This restaurant is in a converted church so really cool setup. It can be a little tight and loud inside when it is busy but... great ambiance. We dined in the main dining area but there is an outdoor option as well for those who don't want to beinside. Next, the food is delicious. During my latest visit I had the Italian garden soup which is served with a huge meatballthat is very good. For my entree I had the three cheese chicken. The chicken was perfectly crispy. I hate when chicken parmcomes out with soggy breading but that definitely isn't the case at Panico's. The service was great. BYOB too! Read more

This place is a gem. Our experience was a delight from start to finish. It started off with a phone call. The young lady was... super helpful and patient. She informed us that they were accepting walk-ins as there wasn't a wait at the moment but perhaps alittle later there would be. Sure enough, we had a 10-15 minute wait upon arrival but it only seemed to get busier as the nightwent on. They have a cool patio set up out front to wait while you are seated. If you BYOB, they will pop your cork atcheck-in and set you up with glasses to enjoy outside while you wait. Our server was super friendly, knowledgeable and veryattentive. We were having trouble deciding on our meals and she was not once fazed, instead she was very patient and helpful. We actually changed our order after we had initially placed it and she took care of it without a hitch. The food was absolutelydelicious. Definitely our best meal in Cape May. We had the Chicken Trofie, Crispy Spicy Salmon and Margherita Pizza. Mymouth is watering just typing it out. Everything was wonderful. Definitely a must visit. Reservations are strongly recommendedas this place was bustling and for good reason. Bring a bottle of your favorite drink as well. I didn't even get to mentionthe wonderful job they did converting an old church into a gem of a restaurant. ???????????????????? Read more

My only complaint about our experience was how long it took to get seated given that we had a reservation. The hostess was... great at staying in communication though and made it feel as we hadn't been forgotten. Our waitress was great, very friendly, knew the specials well, and wasn't even the tiniest bit thrown off when we asked about vegan options for one party member. Sheknew exactly what was in each dish, if it could be modified and suggested a few things. The calamari was great, our entreescame out quickly and hot, and we even split a dessert. We're definitely adding this to our list of places to eat when in town. Read more

First timer here. Picked up takeout for myself for Friday night dinner while in Cape May. Restaurant was bustling, nice vibe... and parking lot. I ordered the Polpetta (stuffed meatball) and the crab macaroni dish. Huge portions, both absolutely delicious, the tomato sauce like home and OMG the homemade focaccia (I normally skip the bread but it was too fresh and delicious.) i haveleftovers for tomorrow. Great place. Read more
