I really enjoyed the 15 course dinner. The food was delicious, the pace of the dishes that came out was perfect, and the... atmosphere was just right. If you have dietary restrictions call ahead and let them know. They were super accommodating. Read more

This place had mixed reviews so felt the need to share my take. The price fix meal option is great because it really streamlined... the meal. The doors opened right at the time of the reservation and people were allowed to select their table and once everyonewas there the meal started promptly. The service was top notch all evening. There was a wide variety of different cuisinesserved and most were very good. From a portion standpoint this was plenty of food for the average person and reasonable for theprice and overall experience. I emphasize the word experience as the restaurant is bizarre, but in a good way. I would recommendgiving it a shot if you are looking for a different dining experience. Read more

Make your reservations well in advance! This is such a unique dining experience to share with a romantic partner or adventurous... friends and family. I eat here every year on vacation and the chef(s) continue to whip up flavorful dishes. One of my favoriteswas the scallop with prosciutto wrapped asparagus ???? I promise you won't leave hungry, and you can even opt in for somedessert. They'll also take care of you if you have a dietary restriction, thanks Shamone! Read more

Some of these reviews are wild and say nothing of the restaurant itself. 2nd time at Shamone and the food was as delicious and... unique as the 1st time. The ambiance is awesome. Each course was fantastic. I expect a 15 course restaurant to be snobby, butShamone is laid back and fun. The staff was great. We had a great time and highly recommend. It's not just dinner, it's anexperience, and you're not getting a meal like this anywhere else. Read more

It was my first time at Shamone, but I'll confess I am a fan of George's restaurants. In a town of 233 restaurants, you have... to be better than good to survive 5 years, like Shamone. I went to Dinner and it was a unique experience, I went as part of agroup of 8, which is about the largest group they can handle at one table. It is BYO so we brought a supply of wine andchampagne. It is $45 to get through the prix fixe door for a set course of 15 tapes dishes. The set menu changes daily, so Iwill not go into details, but the food is wonderful, the service is great and it is a unique dinner experience. Reservationsrecommended, Cash only, great/fun bathroom. eNJoy Read more

I'm so disappointed! I made a reservation last summer (June 2021), but received a phone call 2 hours before that they had a... plumbing issue and wouldn't be able to open that night. Of course I understood, sometimes things happen that are out of ourcontrol and reservations need to be canceled. I was excited to finally try Shamone this year (June 2022). The day of myreservation I was again so disappointed that I was sick and unable to leave my hotel room all day. I called Shamone to let themknow, and the hostess asked my reason for cancelling; I told her about my unfortunate situation (in hindsight I guess theyexpect you to produce a doctor's note). The next day I saw a charge on my Amex for $90! I understand that they plan to serve acertain number of dinners each night, but sometimes things happen that are out of our control and reservations need to becanceled. I also find it very convenient that they only take cash if you actually eat the dinner, but are happy to charge yourcard through OpenTable if you can't make it! If it were say a $10 or $15 charge per person for cancelling the reservation, I'dunderstand; but to charge the full $45 is just bad business. I'm so disappointed that I won't be making a third reservationhere! Read more

Please disregard the negative reviews!!!!!! I normally never post reviews. I almost didn?t even go here because I was daunted by... the negative reviews. You should not go here expecting a stuffy and fancy dining experience. This is a fun and light heartedvenue and the food matches it perfectly. The music playing throughout the evening was a wonderful collection of throwback musicsuch as hooked on a feeling and Ease on down the road. This paired so well with fun dinner conversations and tantalizing dishes. My favorites include the shrimp empanada and scallop ceviche. This is such a unique dining experience and I am thrilled to havehad the chance to experience it! Read more
