Stop what you're doing and go order the sticky toffee pudding. We absolutely love eating at The Blue Pig Tavern and we're... rarely disappointed. This visit was no exception. We had the Sunday prime rib special with bacon fat potatoes and it wasdelicious. Read more

Always a "must go" when we come to Cape May 3-4 times a year. The locally sourced produce from the Beach Plum Farm is... exquisitely prepared to hold that freshness. And I always hold that no one prepares seafood like those who make a livingbringing it in. My Dayboat Scallops in the Cauliflower Puree and Red Onion Vinaigrette were incredible as was my Wedge Saladfirst course. The tired, shabby, look of the inside porch seating area is the only negative. They should honor reservationswith tavern seating. Luckily the fine cusine keeps bringing us back. Read more

Disappointing since I'd heard wonderful things. We sat outside, and it's a lovely setting. Wait staff was friendly and helpful.... I love deviled eggs but these were pretty bland and dry. Person who got the fish and chips didn't eat most of it because therewas so much thick fried batter that it overwhelmed the fish. Bacon around the meat was limp although side broccolini was good.Crab cakes were fine but not special. Grandchild's grilled cheese was actually excellent. Other one ordered the pasta. For $12,it was a really small portion of bowties that couldn't have cost them $1 and was too small to fill any child over one up. Read more

Really love visiting the Blue Pig when I’m in Cape May. The waitstaff are always so nice and accommodating. The food is... incredible and the atmosphere is nice yet casual. It’s also in prime location to shopping and the beach. Love coming here! Read more

Good quality breakfast, serves Mimosas and Bloody Marys which makes the stay at the hotel feel much more like a vacation. I... found the need for reservations for breakfast somewhat strange, perhaps when it gets busy it makes more sense. The first time wedinned they made it seem like babies in strollers are not allowed, but they are. Read more

Place was recommended by a friend. Very nice place. Straightforward American fare. I'm partial to fish and chips, and it did... not disappoint. Decor was comfortable, and I like a place where the music is low and the conversations around you are lively. Read more

Enjoyed our breakfast here on a Friday morning. The omelette was big and tasted great. I also ordered a hot cocoa pancake on the... side, which was beautiful and delicious. It just felt really crowded sitting at our table with people whizzing by and we alsowaited a long time for our check. Read more

Best breakfast of my life. Ordered the poached eggs and thinking of them almost a week later. Husband ordered the eggs and asked... for one pancake and got a stack. He only ate the one. The only bad thing I have to say is that we waited literally 45 minutes topay and leave. We had a ferry to catch and it was a bit frustrating to have to find someone else working so we could leave. But,will be back for those eggs. Read more
