The food was fresh and delicious. There is a large array of beautful fresh seafood for purchase. They also have a menu of... prepared choices to eat there or take home. There are tables arranged outside if you choose to eat there. We choose to stay andhave a late lunch, it was a quiet, lovely time. It is a take-out only restaurant, but there are tables and chairs under a patio to enjoy the meal. We were looking for a lunch... place on our way back from Avalon, and we are so glad we picked Matthew's, since most other places are closed on Tuesday inStore Harbor/Avalon. Matthew's is not only seafood restaurant, they also sell fresh seafood items, locally produced fruit andvegetables. We got the Flonder & scallops and fish tacos. Scallops were cooked to perfection. Really fresh and reasonably priced raw (take home and cook) seafood. I was very impressed by the quality. Swordfish was amazing.
