I don’t know why this restaurant has so many great reviews but this is definitely no authentic Italian kitchen. We where there... with a larger group and the lady who served us was okay but that that friendly. My husband and I ordered a sprite that tastedcompletely like water, but at least they replaced it. The pizza was okay but my husband ordered the spaghetti carbonara and wehave never had such a bad version of it: there where peas in it and we were pretty certain that the meat was out of the can!! The lower rating which resulted in 4.4 stars I have no doubt it's people with off pallet or off emotionally, that nothing would... please them. My Ravioli Montecarlo was spectacularly good I have a stomach of a coyote and most times I get heartburn from superfine dishes but not from this. Italian food is hard to make as simple as it is. I didn't get a chance to take a picture becauseI was dazzled but ill post a picture of my own pasta made from scratch with Italian tomatoes. It's as good as it looks. Had a wonderful dinner celebrating my birthday with my wife. The eggplant parmesan I had was terrific and so was the lasagna my... wife had. Our server Lisa was super nice and attentive. The outdoor patio was also great. We finished up dinner with bothtiramisu and the spumoni pie and they were delicious. We'll definitely come back if we are ever back in this area. Read more

Impressive. A wonderful experience. My husband loved the halibut in a lemon wine sauce. The white wine sauce with mushrooms,... artichoke hearts, and spinach over ravioli was so delightful. What a fantastic locally family-owned Italian Restaurant with an ocean view!!! I was staying at the Doubletree Suites just 1/2... mile away, so I placed a takeout order over the phone. Currently Agostino's is open for takeout and ocean view patio seating. Bonus is that there is a full bar and wine list!!! The bartender was super friendly as we chatted until my food was ready.Augostino made me a custom to-go carrier from a box to make it easy for me to carry. I mentioned to him that I walked from thehotel. I would encourage anyone visiting especially staying at the Hilton Doubletree Suites to take an oceanfront stroll toAugostino's. You'll be impressed by their genuine kindness and food quality. My absolute favorite dish was the gnocchi pestoand a second to the calamari as others have recommended. 5 stars from Phish! Read more
