My Village favorite! Love the cozy atmosphere, the owner Melissa and family. My grand daughters favorite for gnocchi, so much,... that at 9 years old, she is trying to learn to make it herself! Worth the wait, or just get there early! Read more

We went to Caruso's for dinner while visiting Capitola. Be aware that the place is really small. Indoor seating is very limited.... We were seated outside initially, but the server was kind enough to call us in when a seat opened up. We had ordered thevegetarians pizza and the Dischetti Al Tartufo. Both tasted good, especially the sauce in Dischetti Al Tarufo was excellent. Wedo not know what was the reason but they forgot about our order for a while. Then they realised later and got the food. It was45 mins since we ordered. Also they got us gnocchi al forno instead of Dischetti Al Tartufo and we had to send it back. Overallwe had a decent experience. Read more

I ordered an espresso and their machine was down... our server bought me an espresso at a neighboring shop and brought it to our... table. That's an excellent service I will never forget. The food here never disappoints either. 6 out of 5 stars, hands down andhats off. Read more

Went to dinner last night with friends. This place is very small. 4seats at bar watching the chef cook and approx 8 tables. It... will get crowded but I thought the food was pretty good but not something to rave about in my opinion. They have a Wine & BeerLicense just an FYI. The staff was friendly and attentive. It was a nice place but I won?t be going back. I realize thateveryone has different tastes and it was nice to try but now a repeat place for me. Here is what we ordered: (I included somepictures of our meal). Salmon Special served with a red sauce (very nice portion of Salmon that was flaky) , roasted potatoesand vegetable. My wife had the Lasagne and it was ok - it was missing ricotta cheese) nothing special. I split the FettuccinePorcini (That was fantastic) and a Biancaneve Pizza (The pizza didn?t have much flavor even with the truffle oil). We finishedour meal with homemade desserts: Tiramisu and some other gelatinous desert served with some sauce. We should have skipped thedeserts actually. The Tiramisu was lacking a rum flavor and the chocolate sauce drizzle overpowered this dish. The other thingreally had no flavor. Read more

The only downside was my server hardly came to my table never told me specials and can coke $3 a can no refills . It was not that busy. I might go back for the lasagna it was fantastic big portion Read more
