I have lived in Santa Clara California for 18 years since I married an American. Many weekends we go to different areas of the... bay, Capitola is one of my favorites, especially in summer. We go to this restaurant for lunch as soon as we arrive, theatmosphere is incredible. They have many tables inside a very spacious room, but I like the terrace facing , where there arealways seagulls and other birds. Well behaved dogs are welcome =) the quality of the food is excellent: Is Californian &Mexican cuisine. I recommend start with or the calamari, so good. In winter the clam chowder is superb. If you like margaritas,the mango one is fantastic.The staff is friendly, professional and the service is fast. I highly recommend this place for a funmoment with good food. Read more
Lively place for a meal by the water! We always enjoy sitting outside and looking at the colorful houses. Their flavored range... of margaritas are all good! Tacos were great - Fish and Shrimp. Read more

We were in CA visiting my mom and took a drive out to Capitola. We had lunch at Margaritaville and sat out on the patio. I had... the Dungeness Crab Tostadas, my daughters both had the Baja Fish Tacos and my Mom had the Mussels. The weather, the view, theservice and the food was all very good. If I could change one thing I would have asked that they leave off the chipotle crema onthe tostadas. It was good but it overpowered the taste of the crab. Also, with the guacamole, it wasn't really needed. But, agreat experience and super pleased. Read more

This place is a 10/10!!! ???? I LOVE THEIR FOOD!!!! Every dish I ordered was amazing! We had Mussels, Chicken burrito ???? and... fish tacos! The only thing is that the mussels come with butter bread instead of fries ???? But, the mussels itself were supertender and juicy the soup/sauce made them even better!!!
