Pizzaaaa yes please, especially if it?s a thin crust cheese pizza?!? Just to be fair, I did have lunch at Zelda?s next door and... was a bit hungry an hour or so later. I want to give this place the benefit of the doubt with that being said, I look forward tocoming back and enjoying different slices other than just the cheese. I love pizza, thin crust, thick crust, cauliflower crust,California crust! But in this case, if I am to have thin crust pizza, I get a bit picky and request it crispy. Actually, I askedit to be extra crispy unfortunately when I got the pizza, it wasn?t crispy but rather limp and burnt on the bottom. Whoeverrolled out the crust must?ve made it hella thin. I?d love to come back and give them a second try, or consider opening anotherlocation in socal! Solid 3.5 =) Also this place is basically a walk up stand? no seats or anything so if you want to bringyour pup you can enjoy your pizza standing up or there are many beautiful spots around downtown to enjoy this with your furryfriend! Been coming here for over 20 years. Most amazing pizza you can get in the area. However, the last time I was here, I showed... up 15 minutes to closing and the employees who were there refused to make me a whole pie because they said it wouldn?t be donebefore they closed. Had two slices on the beach. Thin crispy crust. Had a deal for a tshirt and a slice for 7.00 usd. The pesto was so wonderfully... garlic filled. The large veggie slice was packed with olives and large hunks of artichoke hearts. All this with my toes in thesand and cool ocean breeze in my hair. Would definitely go back again. Read more
Delicious pizza and friendly staff. They have a variety of different kinds of pizza ranging from chicken to meat lovers. If you... love pizza you will love pizza my heart! Don't forget to get a t-shirt with your pizza it's only a couple bucks more and you geta stylish shirt! If you do forget just ask and they will let you pay the difference. First time tonight. Sign says order here in front of it all but menu you can't see and look at that's by the slices. After... waiting in line loosing my place in line to go look at the slices and prices I get back to the front desk line and the hostesstells me I have to order slices at the slices section. Very confusing turnstile. Need a sign that's states order slices here andone that says order full pizza here for newbies. Next.. pizza slices are way burnt on the bottom. Like cardboard people. That'snot pizza. It's burnt toast for over 5 bucks a slice. Ovens way too hot for speedy turnover. Not working. The 2 stars are forservice and friendly staff. Slow it down a little. Look at the crust. If it's black after reheat, throw it out. And by the wayyour ice trigger on the left fountain machine jams and when you go to pull it from unjamming it kicks your cup and ice out onthe floor. I'm easy and use the 3 second rule, rather than get a new cup, but you got ice on the floor. You also need to askyour customers before they pay "to go" or " here in house dining" or provide a clearly labelled trash versus recycle dispensaryat the waste station. Great place to make your yearly tradition on the way to Santa Cruz or after for dinner. New shirts every year. Great shirt and a... slice deal. If you buy a whole pizza they'll charge you only 2.75 per shirt as many as you would like. Read more
A little pricey, and large pizzas only, but it all makes sense given the location in the heart of Capitola's beachfront. Pizza... was excellent - thin crust just the way we like it. Prepackaged Caesar salad was very fresh. Service was fast and friendly. Read more
Pizza is good (I got the cheese slide and the mushrooms one, my partner got the veggie and another one with lots of stuff on it... - all of them were just great - they do not save up on the ingredients, looots of cheese loooots of mushrooms etc) price isfair, staff is friendly.
