Yummy with a view! A lot of people don?t really know about this spot unless you are a local, since it doesn?t get drive-by... traffic and is the only restaurant on the Capitola wharf. It is a hidden little gem on the water. This place offers lunch andbreakfast. The club sandwich was delicious! The Eggs Benedict looked tasty as well. It is a tiny spot so make sure you make areservation for a larger party. It seemed busier for breakfast and their menus looked excellent. They have a small bar to sit atas well and enjoy a beverage. They have some outdoor seating as well; you can watch the fishermen catch fish from the pier. Itis a great location, and they serve excellent food. It is right near the Capitola village. They only have a few parking spotsclose by, so your best bet for parking is on the hill overlooking the wharf, and you can walk sown from there. Alternatively, you can park in the Capitola village and walk over. I will definitely be back for breakfast next time! Read more

We arrived at the Wharf House on a Sunday afternoon about 2:00pm in November, and had our choice of tables with a view. Becca... our server quickly became our friend, and she provided excellent service during our first visit. The decor of the restaurant ischarmingly nautical. My wife loved the clam chowder that was served in a sour dough bowl, and said it was much better than theclam chowder she had the day before in another Capitola restaurant. I enjoyed the Capitola Club sandwich, and our 10-year-oldson thought the kids cheese burger and fries were great! They we adult size at a kid's price too. The view from our table wasfantastic! Overall, ehe experience exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to our second visit. Read more

The food is wonderful! I am not a fan of Claim Chowder. I have to get a bowl every time I eat here. The staff are the best! Very... welcoming and great hospitality! The lunch prices on here are incorrect. The lunch is more expensive than listed. Worth everypenny! There is paid parking at the peer. 1$ per hour. Super cheap! Read more

Cosy little restaurant at the end of the pier. Pricing surprisingly good, food is haute cuisine, but all the fish is quite fresh... and besides the fact that most fish is batter, the rations are decent and it's as good as you can expect. The setting is verynice, the place is slightly rocking in the wind and waves which adds a dimension to the experience. They serve greatdrinks! Service of drinks was slow, but we were a group of 22, and there were other people in the restaurant, so nothing wrongwith that. Read more

Understaffed with only one server and one bartender on a beautiful summer weeknight. So we can guess how bad the wait times are.... Dirty dishes are left on the empty tables so long it's unsanitary. They automatically factor in the tip even for takeout for oneperson. They probably can get away with bad service since they're the only place on the wharf to have a nice meal. That stillwon't make me want to go back there. But on the plus side, the fish and chips are the tastiest I've had so far. Read more

My husband and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary with a wonderful date night at the Wharf House. We had an absolutely... amazing time. The quaint nautical decor and both indoor and outdoor seating with views of the ocean. The house special cocktailCapitola Breeze was very tasty. Our server Oscar was very polite, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was absolutelyoutstanding!!!!! I had the fresh seared tuna, and my husband had the prawn scampi pasta. We also had the hearty and warm clamchowder in the bread bowl. Yummy. Don?t forget to try the fried prawn appetizer. We are definitely adding this place, to ourtop 5 restaurants in Santa Cruz!!!! Food was good, pay attention to dinner and lunch times because the price jumps up pretty high for dinner time. Service both... times I was there was good and friendly. Views are good and the live band on the weekends are awesome. Read more
