Awful food, poor services! My initial visit, approximately six months ago, should have been my last. I stopped in to try their... pizza. There were lots of customers. I stood at the counter for about 10 minutes with employees not even noticing my presence.Not even so much as a ..."Hi! or we'll have someone help you in a minute." I guess I was Mr. Invisible that day. So, naturally,I left. On Friday, June 1, 2018, after work, hungry, I figured I would give Patz Pies one more chance. This time therewere a handful of patrons. I ordered a meat lasagna & organic salad . I waited about 10 minutes for my order. When Iarrived home that night, I went straight for the lasagna. It was a small portion (4 inches x 5 inches x 3 inches high). Ifigured for $16 it better be good. Was I wrong. The first bite was disgusting. Cheese on top slightly burned. Meat had noseasoning. The sauce tasted like tomato paste. I almost vomited. I called the restaurant the next day. I asked for themanager to voice my complaint. The lady that answered said the manager was not there. Nor could she tell me her schedule.However, she did take my phone number & said she would return my call. A week later still no response. You have beenwarned. Read more
First place we came across after coming up from captain cooks monument and we were so thirsty!! The lady working was just... amazing gave us a huge jug of water next to our order of beer and Pepsi. She also offered us the washroom if we need to clean upa bit ( we must have looked really bad). Didn?t get a chance to taste any food but the pizzas smelt amazing. I would go here forthe hospitality alone! also beautiful terrace on the back with ocean view and a nice breeze. Parking at the front too Read more
I personally think this is the best pizza on the Big Island. Super friendly staff, fantastic view and such a cozy vibe. Will put... this on our list to visit every time we are on the Big Island. Read more
This was a great option for pizza on the island! Staff was very friendly and helpful :) The 8" build your owns were the perfect... size for kids and I was stuffed at the end! If you are a fan of garlic bread but like marinara ask for a "little"unless ofcourse that's all you want to eat ;) Overall was a great family atmosphere and was very yummy! Awesome little pizza parlor! My favorite is their Caesar salad and wings. Their pizza is really tasty too!
