We were looking for Cristaudo's which my husband thought was right next to Pita Alley so when we saw the cupcakes sign we... thought we found it. Got cupcakes and they were cold and the frosting was hard on them. It was like biting into chalk that hadgood flavor once heated in your mouth. Sugar cookie frosting was hard and not very good and the donut was hard so the sugarcrazed toddler wouldn't touch it either. Read more
Great bakery! I was in town for a family trip and ordered a cake from this bakery to celebrate five birthdays, they did a great... job decorating the cake with all five names exactly as asked. And everyone loved the cake (Red Velvet) it was so delicious!!Next time I?m in town will definitely use this bakery again! Read more

This is the worst place I've ever gone to have cakes made! Three times now they have messed up the cake designs I have asked... them for for each one of my kids birthdays and ruined the birthday cakes. They cannot handle a simple order and always tell usthat they can do the design and when we get it it is completely different than what we said we wanted. They lie just to get theorder in. They are overpriced for the products they sell and they cannot complete a simple order the way it is ordered I willnot be going back to this place again and I do not recommend it for anyone it is a waste of time and money. Larry's house of cakes is your goto for sweets in Southern Illinois!! Freshly baked cookies, cupcakes, cakes, donuts, and our... favorite cake pops. Nice friendly, attention staff. All with slot machines to the side if you're feeling lucky. They let me putup flyers and have a community board for local advertisements. Awesome cookies as always. Went in to get sugar cookies for my daughter's birthday and the worker offered to write happy... birthday on one of the cookies for her. Even wrapped it in its own special box with ribbon. Awesome customer service and anoutstanding person to go out of her way to make someone's day brighter. Thank you!! Read more
