Just moved to Carbondale from Minnesota and heard wonderful things about Thai Taste so my partner and I ordered take out (Pad... Thai, Pad See-Ewe, and sticky rice) to bring back to the apartment while we unpack. We ordered a bit later in the night (6:50pmish) and our Pad See-Ewe was astoundingly salty (I could only eat a couple bites) and the sticky rice was dry/hard. My partnerand I did enjoy the Pad Thai but agreed it could use more flavor. We will probably try dinning in to see if the experience isany different but will most likely not try the take out again. Had an overall terrible experience here. The service was absolutely terrible. Tables sitting with no drinks. We waited almost 2... hours for our entrees which we were ok with just excited for the food. The food was the worst Thai food I've ever had. Overlysweet, salty and poor consistency to the rice and noodles. Curry puffs and Beef Pad Thai, they ask you a spice level. The menu says 3 is medium, I chose 5 and it delivered for sure for... the pad Thai. The puffs with sauce is awesome, without a little bland.
