Horrible service !! Very rude! Charged me for someone else?s order then gets mad because i say something about it.. never told... me they were giving me a refund of the other charge so i said we only ordered the one order and she comes back and gives me therefund receipt w attitude and says, it got refunded! So because you messed up i got to wait for my money to be put back on mycard that i didn?t even spend? Worst service i have ever received. Get better employees that aren?t rude and don?t listen totheir customers trying to tell them its not their order. Everything I order here something is wrong or the food is terrible. On my last order, I got nuggets for my 1yr old that appeared... to be recorded, they were and and day and cold. Went through the drive thru and the woman at the pick up window had a very bad attitude. When she filled our drink, she had... trouble getting the lid on and poured some of it out to get the lid to fit. Wife and I will not be going to the McDonald's inCarbondale again Read more
we all know we got to check our food before we leave drive-thru but most of the time it's good.
Had my first really bad experience there today, I ordered via phone and stat in the parking spot waiting for my food as you are... supposed to with said pick-up option. It was a little busy so I understood it would be some time. I get my food after say 12minutes or so and the guy didn't say a word handing me my food and dropped nail clippings in my car when handing me said food.Luckily nothing is wrong with my food itself. Waited 20 minutes for our food. When we received it our fries were cold, my sons mcnugget happy meal was cold and hard, we were... missing a 10 piece nugget meal and our big Macs were missing the correct bottom buns (they put another middle bun on thebottom) and the burgers were way over cooked. We weren't asked to pull forward and we weren't told what was going on. We justkept being told we were waiting on a Big Mac. Everytime I looked in there were the same 3 workers just standing in a circlelaughing and talking. The lady who took our money at the first window had to come down and give us our drinks because the other3 wouldn't even do that. Everything was just awful. I won't be going here again unless I'm extremely desperate. Upon leaving Inoticed there were at least 8 other vehicles waiting in line. When I noticed a whole meal was missing on the way home we didn'teven turn around because of how long the line was and everything we did get was cold and hard and just awful as it was. Lettuce tomato and pickles is all on the side of the burger and not physically on the sandwich they forgot the cheese and they... also forgot the sauce the only thing good out of 30 some dollars worth of food was the French fries and the milkshake my sweettea tastes like it has soap in it or some kind of cleaning chemicals Read more
I worked fast food before. I know sometimes corners are cut, but what irks me even when I worked fast food is food left in a... tray, left out for several hours. McDonalds here in Carbondale did that. I was willing to let it go, took it to their officialcomplaint site told them their food which was clearly left in a heated storage tray or left out in general too long made meincredibly I?ll and sent me to a hospital. All their representative could say is ?we know it?s a risk and appreciate youbringing it up. Since you had it delivered through door dash, you should call them and take it up with them? as if food left outtoo long (meaning easily 2+ hours) is door dash?s fault and not the restaurant when the dasher brought me my food in 30 minutes.Food doesn?t go bad that quick. The chain wants to hold no responsibility and throw the responsibility of their poor operationson a delivery company. How pathetic is that. I worked fast food. I know how the heating storage works. Nuggets typically areleft in heated storage no longer than two hours, and out of heated storage no longer than >1hr. It?s a food safety hazard. Ifthey cannot take responsibility when I?m willing to drop it then I?m not dropping it and making it public, especially after ahospital trip. Who is to say others didn?t get extremely I?ll that day? This needs to change. Im tired of places having poorfood safety, whether I work there or eat there. Wanna hear another sick fact people? They only make more when they need it. Ifthey run out, they make a new batch and the rest sit in warm storage. Nothing is EVER made fresh UNLESS you they run out fromtheir warm storage and need to make more. Same goes for fries unless you request no salt. Since they won?t truly listen to me,fellow consumers must heed my words so that you don?t fall ill the way I have, and get slapped in the face with disregardingtheir responsibility onto a third party.
