Let me start off by saying I was really hesitant coming to this place. Usually when we come up the mountains we don't go out to... most places because we are immediately recognized as outsiders. This weekend my husband and I were up here visiting family andwe were looking for a place to have a drink and some half decent bar fare when we found The Stonehouse on Google and decided togive it a try. A very nice place to eat very clean and there is an outside bar plus the inside bar and the stone workout side is impeccable
Excellent service from waitress. Was out of clams and something else we wanted (been a couple days since there). Daughters fried... mozzarella was hard almost burnt and couldnt eat edges. She had to cut off edges to eat it. Fries where not done and soggy.Hamburger was ok. Read more
Great food/service accompanied with an adequate selection of alcohol. Cool outdoor patio, so when the weather is nice this is a... great place to hangout. The chicken cheesesteak is very good and i highly recommend the hand cut fries. ***pizza is availableThursday - Sunday. It is unique. Square (tray) with fried crust and full of flavor. Have been here several times and it never disappoints us. Our trips here have been for lunch and it always is great! Service is... very good and prompt. the folks here are friendly and always take time to answer any questions you have about the menu items,beer selections, specials or any other general questions. They always make you feel right at home. The Stonehouse has a nicelayout and large outdoor patio area for gathering. We had Mac and Cheese Bites, Loaded Nachos, BAM Burger(You must trythis!!)on our last visit. Will keep coming back! Read more
First time here, love this place. Food took a bit to come out but it was fabulous. The boneless wings were all meat! Not all... breading and grizzle, you get big chunks of white meat. The burger was awesome! They have cold beer and some craft beer. Barservice was quick, friendly and attentive. You don't sit and wait for them to notice you, great service. The decor inside isvery very nice, clean restrooms. There is a huge outside area as well. This is a must stop,we will definitely be going backagain. Read more
