Horrible service. Poor food quality. Started off good when they first opened and it's been nothing but a downhill slide from... there. Sad Read more

I?m so confused who gives them a 5 star review? I live 2 minutes away and went here because Pueblos line was too long. Ordered a... veggie burrito and california burrito with sour cream, Diet Coke no ice. Diet Coke had ice, Cali burrito had no sour cream, all for a cool $27. I ate it anyways, and it?s just god awful, and cold! Carne asada tastes like unseasoned scrap meat. I hopethey go out of business because they certainly don?t act like they want the business! I was the only one in line, go figure, ordered 2 things and they screwed both of them up! Brilliant! Read more

Mexico Viejo is an awesome gem among the sea of many taco shops here in San Diego. It doesn't particularly stand out in any one... item/ dish, but what it does do is provide a lot of value for your hard earned dollar. There is however, one stand out itemthat I firmly believe should be a measuring stick for all taco shops which is their salsa. If the salsa is terrible or ratherbland, I feel it sets the tone for the rest of your meal. Here at Mexico Viejo they do not disappoint, especially their red rojasalsa. It is nice and picante with quite a bit of heat. And I do love my heat. For the value meal that will fill you up go forthe bean and cheese burrito and some rice inside the burrito. If you're looking for something. Crunchy with also added value.Give the five roll tacos a shot. They used to be five bucks but due to COVID and all of its fall out the prices have gone up.Just a tad. All in all, Mexico Viejo is a solid value with good taste. I'm sure you will find something to your liking and notbreak the bank Read more

For a burrito only with meat and avocado. I wish it would have come with rice and beans inside like other burritos. Pineapple... sweet water tasted okay a little after taste. Other then that it was good Read more

This is an old school taco shop that added a new location. I've been eating at their other location for years, very authentic.... And now they have a drive thru, wonderful food I suggest you stop by. Enjoy. Read more

Location is hard to find off the street, but venture a bit off the beaten path and you are rewarded by convenient, cheap, and... delicious burritos. Much better than El Pueblo across the street. Staff is kind and service is quick. Read more
