We were told that Clam Diggers is one of the best local restaurants in the area and that we really should check it out while we... were here. I always try to have lobster ???? when I am visiting the Altantic Coast and this lobster was perfect. The service wasincredible and the view ... well... the view was amazing... Thank you to the staff and the cooks. We had a lovely evening out???? Read more

One of the best seafood meals on my 3-week East Coast trip! Everything we ordered (coconut curry mussels, lobster roll, seafood... chowder and scallops) was delicious. The service was also excellent! I would definitely come back again! Read more

I recently visited PEI with a friend who had never been to the island before. She was interested in having an authentic seafood... dinner, so we headed to Clam Diggers in Cardigan. The "Sea Food Feast for Two" definitely fulfilled her wishes! We shylyexplained to the waitress that we'd never eaten crab / lobster "the real way" before, and she (a lobster fisherman's daughter)kindly explained how to do so. We're not sure if we gave the locals a good laugh as we bumbled our way through dinner, but wedefinitely enjoyed the experience. The restaurant offers variously-priced meals; we definitely splurged on this but Clam Diggersalso offers good meals in the $16-25 range. It's a good idea to make a reservation - we saw a lot of folks who just "showed up"waiting for a table. It's a busy place, and well worth the visit! Read more

Delicious fish and chips, great atmosphere and beautiful view. The chicken wrap was also a huge hit. Really loved the potato... salad, and roasted veggies. You need to get the bread pudding for dessert. It is the best thing I have ever ate. Read more

The food was delicious. We had the Old Fashioned Shanty Bake, the Ocean Bake, the Digger's Seafood Lunch with the toasted... almond quinoa, the Bread pudding, the Old Fashion Carrot Cake, and a white Chardonnay. Our waitress was neither friendly, norunfriendly, simply doing her job without anything else. I would recommend booking in advance as the place fills up pretty fast.Ask for a table at the window so you can enjoy the water view. The restaurant is not very family friendly in the sense that theydon't have a kids menu, colouring paper and crayons, or even a changing table, unlike most other restaurants. Read more

We had an excellent meal here, and friendly service. Our food was delicious, our seating area was nice and overall we really... enjoyed the experience. The spot was busy and staff did seem spread thin, but they did a great job of keeping it all moving. Read more
