The Carencro location had previously been written off as a loss in my book as things were consistently going downhill in terms... of quality, availability, and overall pride from the management/ownership. Apparently new owners/management recently took overand have breathed some life back into this location. I went in today for a pickup order and was happy to see the dining areawell lit, all the menu TVs functioning, and the drink/bbq sauce area cleaned and fully stocked. The staff greeted me when Ientered and were very friendly. This was a welcomed departure from my previous experiences at this location. Let's hope theyremain consistent from here on out. Living in Houston for the last 4 years we have had Dicky's bbq multiple times. When I found out one was opened up near where we... live now here in Louisiana I had to stop by and boy, was I not disappointed! The brisket was juicy and cooked perfectly, and thesides were done right! I know they have a lot of negative reviews due to them just opening and trying to get everythingstraight, but for only being open a couple of weeks or so they sure hit a home-run with their bbq today and will be back thisSunday for more!
