Old house in Carencro that they turned into a quaint restaurant, with a very inventive menu. Specials everyday and brunch on... Sunday. Owners Jay Thornhill and Charles von Aspern, both always there. Jay in the front and Charles is the chef. Always goodsoups made daily. Today I had their ribeye that was very good. Carencro is lucky to have this little jewel. Read more

Usually I am a very picky eater but this place has EXCEEDED my expectations. I was amazed by the spinach dip, shrimp poboy, and... carrot cake!! The carrot cake was so delicious and is probably the best cake i?ve ever had. On top of that the staff was veryfriendly and welcoming. Overall was an amazing experience and will definitely be a returning customer ???? Read more

My husband and I are here for Dinner. We both got the 12 oz. ribeye with fresh fried potatoes and steamed asparagus. Value for... both our meals was $60 plus $4 for our iced tea total. Service was great, and staff was friendly, our food was delicious! Willreturn to dine. Read more

This will be my spot for: 1. Spinach Dip (spinach dip covers a piece of thick tasteless????: that I could have done without. I... didn't know it was prepared that way) and 2. The carrot cake (minus the fried carrot strips)--don't mess with perfection--thecarrot cake/delicious icing is the best, ever! The ambiance of the establishment is really nice! I think the Chef and the Mrs.did their best to be interactive with patrons. A Thursday night was our first time trying this place out. I did not like thehamburger patty: the groundmeat wasn't flavorable; however, I DID like that it was a flat patty. They ran out of a few itemswhen I dined-in. I hope one day to try their vegetable soup. One of the other customers had the last bowl of it. Oh! I lovetheir outdoor eating area on the porch!!!! This is where I will opt to enjoy my ???? while I watch the traffic pass. Read more

I don?t know if Phenomenal is the best word for The Bus Stop Bistro but it certainly gives you the general idea. Three of our... favorite things: ?The Customer Service - every time we went in we were greeted. Our orders were taken promptly, our drinksalways full, and they were great about food allergies. ?The Atmosphere - the owners made it feel like coming home. A smalllittle house tucked away, and a small slice of heaven for those who find it. ?The Food - Where to even start? We have beenthere for every meal. Breakfast (pictured) the Bus Stop Bennie is like a party in your mouth. Add in the side of crispypotatoes? ahh. Our other favorite (pictured) is the Garden Salad with Ahi Tuna and the Loui dressing (not your average salad!)filled with spiced pecans, roasted tomatoes, fried potato thins? Hands down the best thing I have ever eaten. And don?t get usstarted on the steaks or specials. We can?t wait to go back and miss it like crazy. Highly recommend it. Read more

My adventure started with Fezzo's in Scott being full with a wait. On my path home I saw on the map Bus Stop BISTRO. Bus Stop... ??? got to be worth a try. Was I right. The Spinach dip was a perfect blend of flavors. The salmon was large, THICK andcooked to perfection. I have not had a cut of salmon like the in a while. Salmon stood on it's own, but had a relish that addedto the experience. The blend of flavors was outstanding from the bed to the relish. The back door story is your food/experienceis prepared by a professional trained Chef that can work anywhere with a fresh food supplier to die for. Must go destinationthat is off the beaten path.
