This is on service not food….I’ve always loved this place and never had a problem with it because me and my boyfriend goes... there all the time and even recommended to our family and had a baby shower there until last night when we walked In they handedus the drink menu and told us to find our table on the right “because he can’t walk” which is understandable is the personis hurt. The bad part is they a random server gave us bread and than we waited 20 minutes and no waiter ever came to the tableso we had to call for him to which he came over and we ask for menu and he disappeared after and again we had to call for him 20minutes later to take our order we all felt very rushed when he took our order and again he didn’t come back until he broughtthe check which they proceeded to add their own tip on “because we were a large group” being a large group is no excuse toserve people bad service I was really disappointed being that it was my birthday dinner but I do love the restaurant,food andeverything best believe this waiter will never wait on us when I go back there again. Wow I came to this restaurant with my wife and 2 kids. Restaurant was closing but they still were able to accommodate us. Food... was delicious. Our server Jose was amazing. He was very friendly and personable. My family and I will definitely be back!! Read more
This place has great food, big portions, and a lot of space. The waitstaff are friendly and nice, with great atmosphere. I’ve... spent countless Christmas eves, and celebrations here. But most importantly the owners helped my family out to open speciallyfor us for my moms funeral. That’s why this place is my favorite, it’s more than just the food. Read more
Food was pretty good. Interior was immaculate. A bit pricey though. I don't like that pasta doesn't come with dishes. Had I... not asked I would have been eating my Shrimp Scampi on a bed of salad, which is not my thing. Read more
Went to Passione for dinner and was seated within a few minutes. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Once we were seated... the waiter brought us an assortment of bread which was fresh and warm. I ordered the Veal Parmigiano and it was delicious. Theveal was tasty and tender and the spaghetti was perfect. Although the speciality martini seemed like it would be good Irequested the Mango Martini which was good. Throughout the evening the music was playing which I truly enjoyed. It wasn't tooloud and I could hear my conversation. Overall, I had a great evening and would definitely return to Passione. Delicious - from bread to dessert. The staff was friendly. The restaurant wasn't overly packed. The decor was something that... reminded me of some of the things from my extended italian family from when I was a kid. I had struggled with what to get, butdecided on the veal parm. Staff was friendly & professional, facility was clean & inviting. Dinner was large portions & appetizers were tast,. Calamari,... eggplant & clam's were fresh & tasty. Bread & and pasta was good. Bolognese was tasty and average however the red snapperpiccata special was very bland with no traditional piccata taste & very oily. It needed lemon, salt & pepper at minimum & itsrisotto was ok. Sausage & broccoli rabe was also very oily & had an awkward taste. The rest of the party of 9 agreed it was anaverage meal & not worthy of recommending. Passione Review Fantastic Experience from Start to Finish! My niece and I started planning for my sister’s big birthday... surprise party in August. We decided to go to one of her favorite restaurants, Passione, in Carle Place. I could not be happierwith the overall experience! The guests also commented numerous times about the scrumptious food and service. Many guests saidthat they would be back! I began my journey with Emilio, the owner. He was incredibly accommodating, friendly, funny andimmediately made me feel that we made the right decision to have the party at his restaurant. On the day of the party, I wasgreeted by the head chef, Edwin. He was so personable and proactively discussed all the party’s details. I interacted withEdwin on a few occasions as I was decorating. At one point, I had to share a mishap we had with the cake my niece purchased atthe bakery. Edwin immediately told me that he would look at it and fix the cake for us. On several occasions when he saw me, hetold me not to worry, we are all here to make your sure your party is a huge success. And a huge success, it was! The diningroom attendant, Raul, hustled to set the room exactly the way that I wanted it. He made last-minute changes with a smile on hisface, which I appreciated. Shortly after the room was set, Sergio, lead server, and Linda, Maitre D’, arrived. Lindaimmediately offered to help us decorate the room and she came up with the script so that my sister would be surprised up to themoment that she was going to be seated. I laughed so hard because Linda was incredibly funny and talented with her suggestions.Sergio won the Emmy for his performance! He was hilarious.
