This is by far the best Indian food in Eastern Ontario. All the dishes are fantastic and freshly prepared to order. Naan is... superb. Portions are generous. Service is friendly, prompt and courteous. They also remember us everytime we go even after along absence during the pandemic. We'd give it six stars if that was available. Read more

I had a great experience this past weekend at this place. I am a big fan of lamb biryani and I always try it whenever I am at a... indian restaurant. But at many places, biryani has a strong odour of lamb, but at this restaurant, the lamb biryani was highlyaromatic and super tasty. Along with biryani, I had fish Tikka and paneer chilly. My friend and I brought dinner last night from this place and I simply loved the food. The chicken tikka masala had a perfect... balance of spices and very delicious. Naan was fresh and soft and not chewy at all. Gulab jamuns had just the right level ofsweetness. The menu was extensive but not expensive. I had an amazing meal and will be back soon. Read more

Little India in Britannia was our favourite Indian restaurant for 20 years. We recently discovered Sagar in downtown Carleton... Place and they are now our new favourite. Wonderfully distinct flavours and great prices. They make naan bread fresh from whenyou order and it is worth the wait. Service was perfect. Read more

This is my favourite place to eat butter chicken. I have tried so many other places and nothing compares to Sagar. My friend... introduced me to this place about 4 year ago. Their butter chicken lunch combo is always so good there is so much food for agood price too. I regret that it took so long to visit Sagar. We visited on a Sunday evening when the business level was low. Monika was a... graceful, attentive and knowledgeable server. Everything is fresh and authentic. We had a veggie sampler, butter chicken, shrimpvindaloo, basmati rice and garlic naan. We each took home enough for a second meal.
