What a gem of a place, staff were kind especially the owner. The man seems genuinely proud to serve this delectable food to... anybody who's excited to try it. There's a certain atmosphere to it. Hard to pinpoint but only good things. Enough about theatmosphere though, The food? Oh my lands, absolutely delectable. The rice, fantastic. The beans, fantastic. The salsa, to diefor. Everything else just keeps on giving. Absolutely delicious from the first taste to the last bite.I had the steak taco fajita salad.It was loaded and I mean loaded... with tender juicy perfectly seasoned steak and cheese with onions peppers guacamole sour cream lettuce and tomato all superfresh ingredients. We were really disappointed in our meal. We had the chicken fajitas and they were covered in a spicy red sauce. They didn't come... out hot and sizzling, nor did they taste good. Our cheese sauce was literally watered down. Sure it goes farther, but was almostcompletely flavorless. I don't know how the restaurant is a 4.9. It must be the lack of options. Read more

Wow, a really good Mexican restaurant in Carlisle, Indiana. Who knew? I grew up in Carlisle way back in the 50's and 60's. The... town and surrounding area have generally declined over the years. So it's a pleasant surprise to find such a good restaurant. Read more
