My father and I took my younger brother here for his birthday. Me and my father sat at the bar while he played with his high... school friends. Staff at the front counter who checked us in were friendly/professional. The people running the bar wereinattentive, rude and negligent with their work. A customer walked in and presented a fraudulent ID which passed the counter andhad left before a state trooper showed up. The staff member he questioned was not ramp certified. The reason I am posting thismessage is because the most appalling thing I saw today was the staff member who screwed up (Also the one who was rude to me andmy father.) the bar manager and the chef who exited the kitchen to talk with the bar manager and the staff all stood aroundafter the state trooper left, gawking about how "Oh, the card passed our scanner so we're not responsible." YES YOU ARE! That isa infraction and IF the person who presented the fraudulent I.D later severely injures someone, not only could the company beheld civilly liable, the staff member who was not certified could be held criminally liable for negligence. This was my first time at Midway. The facility is absolutely amazing. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. For a Sunday... night there were plenty of lanes open. Absolutely enjoyed everything. You guys are awesome!! Read more
Very friendly service, everything very clean smells fresh. Food pricey for what you get, and when it says free kid bowl they get... you with the shoe rental. 15 for 4 people I think that's kinda ridiculous. Over all it was good.will go back Read more
Attended a child's birthday party today that was catered by them. The food was excellent. The pizza was some of the best pizza... I've had anywhere. Pulled pork and macaroni and cheese were also very good. They have a great outdoor space as well. Woulddefinitely recommend this for children's birthdays. Read more
Love this place. There is all kinds of stuff to do beside blowing. Ax throwing, pool, good food, arcade, and it's the home of... the Big Lebowski. I could use a White Russian dude!!! Read more
Where do I start? First... this is a local family-owned business. Massive props for staying the course since 1956, offering... family-friendly entertainment and activities that includes bowling, made-to-order food, a great bar and simulators... butthere's so much more. There's the staff, which includes a lot of smiles and energy, in spite of the challenges of 2020. This ishard work and long hours, and it's clear that this iconic venue and its people have their hearts in it. I'd be remiss, though,if I didn't bring up that the Midway has been among the few businesses that has kept the local live music scene vibrant andalive, thanks to the owners' significant investment in the patio and their solid commitment to LIVE musicianship. I could go onand on, but I'm just one musician out of hundreds who have the opportunity to perform, see old friends, meet new fans and enjoythe connections of music. For those who haven't been to see a live music event at the Midway, please check the schedule. There's always something going on! Thank you, Midway owners, staff and management, for making sure that the midstate musicscene remains alive today and in the years to come. And thank you for your energy.
