Food what authentic. Tasty and very creative presentation. Crass service due to culture differences but not bad for Carlisle.
We have eaten Indian food all across the country and Jewels of India has the absolute best chicken tiki masala! It has the best... flavor, plenty of sauce and chicken and the spice is perfect! We love coming here for their weekend lunch buffet and for dinnersthroughout the week. The staff is friendly and very attentive. And for some odd reason, water tastes differently coming out oftheir metal cups! Ohhh and the naan!!!! So good! Read more
It is impressive how terrible the place is. Dont waste your time going here. Friendly staff, if shown up that is. There are 6... ppl seating, so pretty dead.. It took 30 minutes to see the waitress, and another 30 to receive some of the drinks the drinks.We waited 1.5 hour and there was still no food, or signs of food, there was still stuff being chopped in the kitchen. They werenot understaffed since there were at least 2 people (not chefs) working, because any proper cook would be able to serve a fewsimple curries within that time. I have had various food and services around the world, but this is probably the worst I haveseen , ever If you cant run or want to run a a business, close the place the down. Your first impression is that it’s a jewelry store but once you come through the door and the warm, delicious smells of... authentic Indian cooking hit you, you definitely want some of the yummy goodness in that kitchen! Hostess was very courteous,the food was delicious and made according to MY spice tolerance. Would definitely visit again! Read more
Indian cuisine is my favorite, but I have to say this is the WORST Indian cuisine I've ever had. The tikki masala had a soooo... much oil on top of it it was horrible. Who made this!?? The tandoori chicken tasted old, Do not go here! Read more
Amazing atmosphere, delicious food, very friendly service. A bit pricey but you're going to get your money's worth on each dish.
The ambience is very good and also very convenient location. Service is also very good and the people are excellent and very... very cordial. We were treated and greeted very cordially. However, the food is not up to the mark. We ordered chicken biriyani,butter chicken, nun and gulab jamoon. It was anything but biriyani. Butter chicken gravy was bit more diluted than what we usedto. Nun and jamoon were good though. Also the spice level was a bit too much even after asking for mild level (the least optionavailable). I have yet to have a bad experience here. The staff is very cordial and professional. I always go for the buffet. I love the... variety. Everything I have ever eaten has been amazing. And their fresh baked naan is so delicious. Also, I never found theirfood overly spicy. I would recommend this place to anyone. Read more
