Sub wasn't bad but I had to avoid the veggies based off the how the cooling unit looked. Half the pans were frosted up the side... turning the lettuce brown. Might need someone to take a look at the temperature settings or start cutting fresh in the morningssince I was there just after open. Read more
This was my favorite Subway....the food is always good, the service is always great. It wasn't tonight. I tried to order my one... sub online, but I missed the 8:30pm cut off by one minute. So I rushed over arriving at 8:42 to find the open sign off andannoyed looks by the staff. The girl sweeping asked myself and the woman in front of me how many subs we were ordering at the door. (Were you going to refuse my business depending on how many subs we wanted?). Unfortunately I did not get her name, butthe taller girl with dark hair was pleasant throughout my visit. I left at 8:54, and watched as the girl with glasses (seensweeping earlier) locked the doors at 8:57pm. I used to work at a few Subways, and currently work in a retail environment. My wife and I were driving from MA to SC, and decided against the usual fast food choices. We pulled into this Subway location,... and couldn?t have been more impressed. The facilities are clean and in good condition. The employees (two young men and a younglady) were pleasant, efficient and friendly. I?m not ?old?, but old enough to know what great service used to look like. ThisSubway location was a throwback to a better time, and should be the standard by which fast food restaurants are judged? I love Subway as much as the next guy. Which makes it all the more depressing when I have an awful experience, especially at... what used to be my favorite location. I assume that this Subway is under new management since I was last here, as the managerseemed to care more about yelling at his kids (who were sitting at a table in the empty restaurant) rather than engaging with acustomer. The four people I talked to behind the counter never smiled, never asked "How are you?", and offered nothing in termsof basic manners. Not a single person could muster enough positivity to even pretend like they wanted to be there. I did nothave a large order, and there was only one other customer in the store other than myself. I was as kind and efficient as acustomer could be. To cap things off nicely, the lettuce and spinach was browning and looked sickly, which is concerning aslettuce/salad is the number one cause of food poisoning. I do not blame the employees, I place all blame on the manager as theyare the one responsible for emphasizing customer service and for maintaining quality standards. The singular reason this reviewis listed as five stars is so that it is shown more prominently within the reviews, and others can hopefully gain some insightinto this location before placing your order. I?ve been to this subway multiple times, and tonight was outstanding. Cirroc is an outstanding employee. Literally picture... perfect. A customer in front of me was about to hand her change to him and he wouldn?t take it until he finished making theirsub because he was concerned about being sanitary. He was extremely kind and energetic towards every costumer that was in line.He undoubtedly deserves the best in his time being employed here. Read more
The tuna was disgusting although the sandwich was made well. The cookies are the best thing there and the service was excellent.
