Had my last evening meal here before heading back to OZ.. Chose this place based on reviews in Google.. didn?t disappoint. Ramen... was excellent, great depth of flavor and generous portions. I also indulged in a flight of Sake.. so good. Value for money isgreat and staff are knowledgeable and attentive. The food here is pretty decent but the service is quite unorganized. Sat down for dinner and put in our order of 3 appetizers to... start @6pm. 6:10 our first app comes out. Takoyaki was 5/5. Excellent. 20 minute passes by, waiter comes back and says did youguys want to order anymore food? We said no cause we hadn?t gotten all of our apps yet. 10 more minutes passed, a diff waiterbrings us our bill. I told him we haven?t gotten the rest of our food yet. He said he would go check on it. Waited for him tocome back with an update but he did not so we had to ask a waitress for and update on our food. She tells they?re making it now.Our waiter eventually comes by to tell us the kitchen was backed up. I find this untrue as we observed everyone who came afterus getting their food in a timely manner. I suspect that they forgot about us and brought us the check cause they thought wewere done. The apps finally came which was about an hour into dinner now. We ended up ordering the beef rib ramen because the 3apps weren?t enough. The bone needed to be cooked a little longer cause it was chewy. The torching of the meat made no sense andtook away from the beefy goodness of the beef bone. Beshock seems to be the best authentic Japanese restaurant in North County. So of the best dishes are the ramen, appetizers,... sushi rolls and drinks. I love the Ramen ???? here. It is so tasty and delicious. The tonkatsu is not as tasty, go for somethingesle. We love the ahi poke chips, takoyaki, and karage. They have two different vegan ramen. I?ve only been to one other Ramen spot before this. But this one by far overshadows the last one. The quality the noodles was... much better and the food overall was fresher. Meat, vegetables?.broth was much more savory definitely a great spot. I can?t saythat I am a Ramen connoisseur but no complaints here. Also kind of random but there?s a dish called ?dirty fries?. One of the better Ramen places we've been to since returning from Japan. Quality food, good taste, fairly authentic but with a... good amount of options for soup base. You shouldn't be disappointed if you choose Beshock and you want good Ramen Read more

Beshock Ramen is pretty... Really Good! This ramen shop is like the cool ramen shop. There is a bar, outdoor seating, indoor... seating, and really yummy ramen. The prices are a little more expensive than what I am accustomed to but overall the foodquality makes up for the prices. Each slurp of the noodles andwas delightful to the taste buds in my mouth. The servicestruggles a little bit. The food comes out pretty slow and seating can be challenging if you are hungry and unwilling to wait.With all the staffing shortages of 2021, I'm not complaining because the from the host to the waitresses, they all served mewith a smile. This place is convenient if you are shopping and/or willing to fight/wait for a parking spot. I was highlyimpressed with this ramen shop and will go back before I leave Oceanside! Read more
