Campfire never disappoints! All the food was delicious and so beautiful! The "tomato" which was grilled peaches, heirloom... tomatoes and basil in a vinaigrette was my favorite dish of the night! Everything about it was perfect! They absolutely made mynight, because they made me their roasted beet cocktail that was on their menu a few years ago! This is easily top ten restaurants in north county. Excellent food, service, fantastic cocktails, awesome setting/decor, eaten... here 10+ times and never had a bad meal. Don’t miss it if you’re in Carlsbad. Read more
What an experience! Chef Benji really took care of us. You waitress was amazing and very helpful as well. The ambiance was... really fun and not at all pretentious. But the food, well the food was REALLY memorable. I really can’t praise the kitchenhighly enough. So good. I will be back when I can! Read more
A themed restaurant is always a cool experience, and this was no exception. I loved the decor and the menu. Service was also... wonderful. We enjoyed the porridge bread, crudités, and a veggie based pasta. Of course, we also had the s’mores dessert. Itwas super cute! All the food was delicious. I took off one star because the cocktails were not great (we are admittedly, moreaccustomed to visiting cocktail bars and ordering drinks that take around 10 minutes or longer to create). Campfire was a great dining experience especially if you're doing the chef's tasting menu. An ideal dining option if you're... dining with the group and wanting to experience multiple tastings and short amount of time for a great price. Staff and ownerwere president and extremely kind and helpful with your order and guided you with the best options that best fit your palate andthe creativity of the chef. Celebrating our friend's bachelor party here was a wonderful experience and would highly recommendto anyone else who would be interested in doing anything similar or a great dining experience. The broccoli by far the bestthing and it is not overhyped. by my review and anyone else so definitely get to the broccoli and even if you're getting thevegan one it does not taste any different than the real thing. My family brought me here to celebrate my birthday. There were a number of completely vegetarian options available as well as... the flexibility to make some of the more popular options vegetarian, so inform the server of your dietary restrictions. Theyhave a separate vegan menu as well. We ordered the broccoli, beets, ancient grains, and cavatelli. All were delicious in theirown ways, but the broccoli was a favorite. The drinks were also good! We didn't have dessert as the server informed us that thes'mores are not vegetarian, but it would be great to have that as an option if there's a way to accommodate. Read more
