The staff was super friendly. We didn't have to wait a long time to get seated even though it was crowded. I had the breakfast... burrito and my friend had the seafood omelet. I was not a fan of my dish because they put the salsa on top of the burrito. Iate my burrito with a fork. The burrito itself was okay nothing special. My friend said that her dish lack seasoning. Stopped twice for breakfast here in one weekend. Even on a Sunday morning it wasn?t too busy for us to grab a seat. Actually had... the same great waitress both days. Pancakes, French toast (so good!!), eggs/toast were all great. Add a biscuit to your order ifyou have room!! Read more

Nice to have patio seating during these CoVID times. Very quick service. The ambiance is fair to middlin?- nothing special. My... breakfast - mushroom omelette with potatoes was good and the blueberry muffin too. My boyfriend had the Neptune omelette and wasdisappointed with how it seemed to be thrown together and they put in pickled jalapeno?s after assuring him they were fresh andwould be grilled. We live in San Clemente and go out of our way to drive south to the Daily News Cafe. It opens very early, which is a bonus to... those who like to get an early start. The menu has a lot of excellent menu options. The food is always served fresh fast. Theservers are always super friendly, and you can tell they love their job.
