This place is cute inside, with a quaint Parisian feel to it. Large signs hang above the display cases, with all their menu... items clearly visible, as you stand in line, waiting to order. We came in here on 10/2/22, looking to try one their ChocolateEclairs, which looked incredible on their web-site photos. We were disappointed to find out they didn't have any today, & thecashier told us they bake these on Fridays, & they're usually out by Sundays, the day we unfortunately showed up. ThePatisserie case wasn't exactly overflowing with fresh French pastries, so I chose a French Shortbread Cookie, with a largedollop of jam in the center. It looked really good. My wife chose a Regular Croissant & had them warm it up. We ordered twoAmericano Coffees, my wife's being Decaf. Their coffee was spot on, we thought, after trying that first sip- steaming hot, decadently rich & mine felt like it would put more hair on my chest. Both our goodies were tres bien, with my wife's croissantbeing ultra light, flaky & super buttery- in a word, delicious! My cookie was ????. Of the 2 breakfast entrees we ordered, mywife's Breakfast Crepe was best, by far! It was a large crepe, loaded inside with ham, egg, & chunks of tomato-so satisfying, bite after delicious bite. Topping the crepe, was a feathery dusting of fresh-grated Parmesan cheese. I wasn't thrilled withmy Breakfast Frittata. It was a small rectangular, fluffy egg portion, slightly over 2" wide X just over 5" long & 1" thick. This frittata was supposed to contain bacon, potatoes & Parmesan cheese. Freshly-grated Parmesan was sprinkled on top, though Ionly found 1 microscopic bit of potato, and several equally tiny bits of bacon inside. The frittata contained almost entirelymoist, rich fluffy egg. It tasted ok, but if they say they'll have certain ingredients inside, you should be able to identifythem without a magnifying glass- just sayin'. The bed of greens, which accompanied my frittata, were the be Read more

Consistent quality with a short wait is a winning combination. My one issue is that they don?t do iced coffees well (ice melts... and it?s watered down coffee) but their hot coffees are delicious though. I like their quiches, crepes and sandwiches. Outdoorseating (most of it is shaded) is ideal for bringing your dog. Street parking is available. Read more

Hidden gem! I didn?t expect anything special with the ratings but this is a fantastic place! Staff is so kind and helpful and... food is great. I ordered a La Noir which was perfect. If I?m being critical, it could be a touch less sweet and a little hotter, but it was fantastic as is. Also ordered a Nutella crepe which was great. A lot of Nutella if that?s your thing. But also a lotof fruit on top which was my thing. If I?m in Carlsbad again, I may as well stop by!! Read more

We stopped here by accident today, and wasn?t disappointed. It?s a cute little coffee shop on the corner. It was such a nice... warm day and decided to sit outside. There was a wide variety of things to order, but we opted for a breakfast croissant (eggand ham) and breakfast sandwich (on a baguette), as well as cappuccino?s. You have to order inside, they give you a number andyou choose your seat. The servers were friendly. We didn?t have to wait too long. Was a nice surprise stop on our motorcycledrive today. My husband is French-born, so it was nice to see a French menu. Read more
