Great breakfast burrito. Good size and very flavorful. The customer service was very good staff is very friendly.
Staff is INCREDIBLY rude, and don't want you to modify any products (for example not including guacamole on a burrito due to... allergies) and will make you feel bad for even speaking. Aside from that don't even get me started on how disgusting the foodis. They toss it to you when it's done as if youre at a school cafeteria and that's what it tastes like at best. Got aCalifornia burrito with beans and sour cream and no guac, and it tastes so bad! Rice is bland, carne asada is flavorless andtaste like it was pulled out of a sink of dirty water, and there was almost no sour cream on it even though I paid extra. Poorservice, awful food, go to Albertacos in San Marcos if you want quality, delicious food. Save your money. Read more

This would have been one star but there were nice people working there. I feel bad for whoever likes this carne asada because... the quality of the meat is below what I imagine a rabid dog taste like. The burritos were terribly wrapped and sloppy. If I could give Kotija Jr Carlsbad 6 stars I would. All of the 5 star reviews on here are on point. The quality of the food at... this taco shop is above average for what you?d expect at a similar joint. The taquitos are hand rolled, not frozen, and thesalsa smacks hard. I?m still in the middle of eating my fish taco and I had to put it out there that this is the best fish taco I?ve ever eaten!... The meat fills the taco, the toppings are fantastic, the tortilla is warm but not soggy or crunchy. I can?t wait to go back andtry more from their menu! If this fish taco is any indication of what else is on their menu then I most likely won?t go anywhereelse for Mexican food Read more

I've tried almost everything on their menu now. I've enjoyed everything so far. Chef is nice. Cashier's are nice. They go above... and beyond. Their hot sauces are good. Flavorful. Breakfast and lunch are good. I personally order their papa's tacos often. Ialways pay for extra meat if I get a burrito. And they hook it up. The ingredients are always fresh. Thank you fam.
