I had not ordered from this chain for about 15 years. Decided to order in. The food was hot and looked appetizing. However I was... looking for a taste which I did not get. Not only that there were small pieces of fine hair in the food which prevented me tofinish it. Save your money and appetite for a better tasting food without the condiments(hair) . Cheers Read more
The food was pretty bland for what should have been a dish on the spicier side. We ordered spicy noodles (it even had the chili... pepper by it) because we thought it would have some kick to it but sadly it was very very mild. But who doesn't love noodles. Read more
I have to say this Pick Up Sticks is amazing!! I have severe allergies, and Liz and her crew really when above and beyond for... me, to ensure what the were preparing didn?t have anything I was allergic to in! I have never had a restaurant go so above andbeyond as what they did tonight!! It was refreshing to see amazing customer service stills exists!! I will for sure be a repeatcustomer! On a side note? this establishment is extremely clean, including the bathroom. This location cares about their placeof business and the customers they serve!! There have been some changes. They no longer have lunch combos. All of the entrees come with white rice. Fried rice is an extra... charge. An ample portion. My choice was delicious, but I was stuffed. I have enough for another time. I had Mongolian Beef andit was yummy. Love the flavor. Read more

2 yrs ago at the LAX airport we stumbled on Pick Up Stix and the food was OUTSTANDING! This time visiting Carlsbad from GA, we... found there was 1 in town and was SUPER EXCITED. Unfortunately, the 2 experiences were sadly very different. We ordered the sameas in LAX yet received 90% Carrots versus chicken; After removing ALL the carrots, the box was pretty much EMPTY! Used to be good but they changed from containers to plate based servings, used to get one container of meat and one container of... rice, now its 2/3 rice 1/3 meat on a plate although the chef said nothing has changed. The restaurant should rename themselvesRip Off Stix. Read more
