First of all there is so much delicious food. Service was amazing. I didn't catch the young gentleman's name but he was super... friendly and very helpful. I wish this place was closer to me. I would be there every day! Read more

This was a really great experience. Our server Tory was very nice and helpful to get me started, as it was my first time. The... ingredients were fresh and everything came out perfect. Tory also helped with some recommendations once I mentioned I likedspicy. Read more

4.5 stars - lovely little casual restaurant in modern Japanese style. Staff was great, food was super high quality, and drinks... were standard fare (various sake, a couple of wines and a handful of beer options). Took off a half star because noreservations system and the hot sake wasn't actually hot (warm only). Will definitely be going back and highly recommend for agreat Shabu Shabu experience in a relaxed setting! Read more

I've eaten at many Shabu places and Tabu Shabu didn't appeal to my taste buds at all. What makes a great Shabu is the... combination of meat, sauces and the soup base. Although the meat was fine, the pork bone soup base was extremely salty. Worstparts are the ponzu which was vinegary, and instead of a sauce, the sesame was a paste that was grainy. From the very firstbite, I was not happy. Tabu was also the most expensive Shabu place I've ever been to and based on other ratings, was veryexcited to try it. Unfortunately, it didn't even come close to my expectations. I thought maybe it was just me, so I asked mywife how she liked it and she too said it was very salty. Definitely not a place I can recommend. Read more

It was our first time being here, what I really like is that the guy that attended to us was really patient and he explained well... how the whole thing works, the only thing he forgot to ask is how we wanted the orders to be taken since we were 1 big group butwe needed 3 different checks other than that it was really good,I think we would come back another time. Also thank you missRachel for your patience too. Read more

Very cool place. It's an interactive dinner which makes it fun! Our server (young lady about to visit home in MA, forgot her... name) was excellent! Very patient and informative. You sit around a "bar top", no individual tables, and there is an inductionburner at each seat. On the menu you get to choose from a handful of broths and a list of proteins; each meal also comes with astack of veggies. Once your broth heats up, you get to cook you for yourself! Throw in some seasoning sauce, throw in someveggies, your meats and keep rotating a few items in and pulling the cooked ones out. This way everything is nice and hot whenyou eat and you have a steady supply. We will be back Read more
