This cafe/coffee shop has been a staple in Carlsbad for as long as I can remember...Never have I ever had a bad experience here... and there are plenty of outlets if you need to get some work done. They also have a great selection of teas and ice cream ifyou're in the mood. Located right in the village, I highly recommend anyone to visit, whether you are a local or a visitor! Read more
The very best place for great coffee, ( never bitter),and sandwiches stuffed with goodies, ( 1/2 makes a meal!). The staff is a... multi-talented and friendly bunch who work incessantly to give you the best experience possible! Tasty oat milk latte with honey. The oat milk frothed well. The ladies behind the counter were nice.
This place is special to me. I met my wife here for our first date and we had coffee then a walk. We come back here time to time... as it's our favorite place in Carlsbad to get coffee. They do a great job and I've never asked them to remake a drink. They alsohave really great iced cream. We started bringing our boys here as a starting point to the beach walk, grabbing whatever icedcream they want. The baked goods are fantastic as well. I know they make other food and it all looks good, but I've never triedanything else. You will see people come here for the ambience and maybe they will be studying, playing chess or something ofthe sort. This will remain my favorite coffee shop in Carlsbad. Read more

For a first timer experience. Nope not the place. Had tried a drink called " Banana Nut Latte ". Just was plain and nothing to... it. Didn't taste the banana nor the nut taste at all. Had a dessert of Oreo Cheesecake. Of course it wasn't made there so, butwish they could have recommended something they do there. Was offered another drink if it wasn't what we were expecting. Butafter that first taste then added banana flavoring. Still not great? Just not worth it for a first time visitor. Read more
The barista was off her game. The coffee really wasn't all that good. I asked for heavy cream and received nothing. My wife... asked for an inhouse cup and received a taco cup. Read more
