This exquisite deli is definitely a must-try for anyone new, or even seasoned in the area. They have a very clean establishment... and offer very tasty food. They have many options, as well as gluten-free bread for those who cannot eat gluten. The onlynegative thing I have to say is that the portion sizes are a little small for the price you pay, but overall it is indeed amighty fine establishment and is worth a try. Read more
They had no baked spuds and no wraps. Not the best experience, but the young lady at the register that took my order was very... friendly and had to apologize for not having the items we wanted. You should be prepared for anyones order. Read more
First time eating at a McAlister's and I enjoyed my meal immensely. This place reminds me of Panera Bread back at home. The... establishment has a cozy cafe feel. The employees are super sweet. I ordered the Southwest chicken sandwich which hit the spot! Read more
The first time I ate her I was not impressed. My sandwich had very little meat on it. A couple weeks later I decided to give it... another try. The sandwich still did not have much meat on it but what was disappointing was my half Savannah chopped salad. Mostof the lettuce was the ends of the lettuce head and it clearly was very old. Staff was friendly and paid attention to requests, also knew their products well.. Soup, salads, and drinks were great. Free... refills on all drinks. Did not try the spuds portion of the menu during my visit, so unable to give my opinion on that. Theonly downside was that the chocolate chip cookie was very flat. Ordered 2 Jalapeño crunch sandwiches, Had no chips on them, and no pickles on the side. The sticker on top clearly states what... I ordered. The ultimate Nachos literally only came with chili and chips, but the menu sure does have a lot more than that. Ohyeah, and I had to tell them I ordered a tea before I left because they forgot I also Paid for one of those. So we go back, tellthem our problem and they tell us ?Hold on, we will remake your sandwiches? They handed us back the same sandwiches with a bagof chips on top and still no pickle. Sure they gave us some nacho fixings but the amount of cheese was ridiculous I 100% willnever have McAllisters of Carlsbad ever again. Read more
I liked Mcalister's, this was my first experience at one of their restaurants and it wasn't bad. The service was not the best at... the time, but I suspect that was because they were training a lot of new workers on that particular night. They were still verypolite and were eventually able to provide us with our food. It was pretty decent and I was able to get a pretty good club andsome Mac and Cheese. Read more
