I wanted to try this spot because it had vegan options and I love Caribbean food so I took the ride up there. At first when I... arrived I did not see the restaurant in the shopping plaza. I finally seen it and parked in the parking lot. I walked in andwas greeted by one of the owners. The place looks very new and very clean. I asked what Caribbean island inspired therestaurant and she said she is Dominican and her husband is Haitian. I asked to see some of the dishes because they werepre-made early and put in serving dishes. Everything looked good. I ordered the curry chickpeas, mushroom rice, cabbage andcarrots. The owner warmed up the cabbage and carrots because its normally sold cold. I paid about $9 which wasn't bad and it wasa lot of food. When I got home I dug in and the food wasn't bad. The cabbage was a little crunchy. I did have to add a littleseason salt to it to my liking. Overall it wasn't a bad experience. Read more
