Today was our friends anniversary and we took them out for Brunch. Starting off with the parking, there is not a parking lot,... but street parking is available and it was easy to find. Going into the restaurant there is 1 step and no wheelchair ramp. Onceyou are in the restaurant the staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant is very homie feeling and you feel socomfortable. We chose to sit in the back of the restaurant on the enclosed deck area with the view of NYC. Unfortunately we werenot able to come at dinner time to get the view with the city lit up at night. But day or night it feels like you are in a treehouse when you are there. For Brunch we ordered a few different dishes, we had the salmon steak, shish filet mignon, lamb shank,and lamb shish. The salmon was a very large portion and the filet and lamb shish was very tender. My favorite was the lamb shankand if I was to go back again that is what I would order. Everything on the menu is halal but if you are a vegetarian they havemany dishes that you would be able to choose from. Read more
Food was great and staff was friendly. I really tried to have an abundance of patience with the service with current labor... struggles but there has to be a limit. If you cannot service all your tables in a decent time frame/with regularity then as arestaurant you should not fill the tables and turn people away. Would probably be five stars if not for the slow service andbasic disregard for our table as they got busier. Read more

Incredible view of Manhattan in the back. Ask for the patio! The mix platter was incredible, especially the most delicious grape... leaves I?ve ever had! Bring your own beer and wine and they will gladly uncork and poor it for you. Thank you, Hunkar! We?ll beback! Read more

Amazing food and service! We walked in and luckily we were early enough they were able to accommodate us. We were in the front... area. It was cozy, no complaints. But next time (TIP) we will make reservations for the back room. It has a beautiful view ofNYC! Our orders: As it was cold we ordered Lentil Soup which was good Stuffed Eggplant is a must order so good! Beware thepepper on top. Bronzino was so good, crispy skin and tender flesh, well seasoned and comes with a salad Hunkar Begendi - Aclassic Istanbul dish - lamb chunks cooked in tomato sauce, served on eggplant puree blended with cheese.
