I had dinner at the Gold Panner Restaurant earlier this evening, a lovely experience after a long drive south from Dawson City.... The young man who waited on us was simply wonderful .... attentive, competent, kind, and sweet. And the food was delicious andplentiful (I ordered chicken souvlaki and a sublime cheesecake drizzled with ambrosia). I never imagined I would find such afine restaurant in the Yukon, with the magnificent river itself close by. Read more
Restaurant is easy to locate. Good food,hot and fresh. I was just kind of surprised to see and extra $3 charge for the salad... when it actually says on the menu it comes with it. Clean and decent place to eat. Read more

High recommended restaurant in Carmacks. It is a family oriented. The food in general was fantastic and the service was very... friendly. Be patient with the staff, it is a small restaurant that have a lot to offer. In the same location, you find closeby a grocery store, gas station, hotel, hard ware store, hunting and fishing gears and souvenirs..... It is the main servicearea in town. Stopped for lunch on our way back from Dawson City and the food and service was very good. The food was very fresh and came... surprisingly quick. Would stop again if we had a chance. Read more
