The sit-down part of this restaurant was booked out on a Friday night, so I took a seat at the bar in the cafe side. Ordered a... delicious prosciutto di parma with argula pizza. Only issue I have is the service. Rather, the staff didn't really check up ontables the entire hour I was there. They didn't even check on me and I was right next to them at the bar! Read more
We tried to have dinner next door at Napoli but it was full so we went here - they have the same menu. No complaints about the... food, the chicken piccata was excellent! My husband got the Sinatra pasta & liked it as well. I'd like to go back & try theirpizza. It has a nice, cozy, clean atmosphere. The service was spotty. I'm not sure if they understaff or what but it kind offelt like we were in another culture where service is slower & you need to flag people down for service. Read more
We ordered a pizza and it was good, but the food and wine were so over-priced. 2 glasses of wine and a pizza cost us $50! Both... were good but nothing special by any means. We had a delicious meal the night before at a different restaurant in Carmel withwine, appetizer, entrees, AND dessert and it was just a little over $100, so there are definitely better values and food intown. Decent wine section and interesting appetizers. Exactly what my wife and I were looking for; a place to have a glass of wine... and maybe a snack before dinner. The service was quick and friendly. Not fancy but good quality. We had a cozy table by the fireplace. Started with the wine flights and salumi, then chose our wines... and had the fried calamari and the beet and goat cheese salad. They actually do the fried food very well - not oily at all, justcrispy on the outside (and not overcooked inside). Friendly service. Read more
