My favorite over there is the braised beef Cannelloni. Unique dining experience in the Carmel by the sea. Great food and nice... ambiance. Their service is great too. Love their decorations. They have really good wine selection. It is a quiet and romanticrestaurant. It's a must in the Carmel by the sea. Don't forget to try their delicious desserts. Read more

3 star. Food was not bad, but not great either. For $100 per person, I would expect more. Beef Tartare - good. Lamb - good,... but plating... be more aesthetic please. Seafood Linguine - mediocre and the flavor was a bit too sour. Desert was a disaster, the basque cheese cake was terrible - you could get it from any grocery store. Read more

Yum! Best meal we had on the trip. Kind of gave us stomach aches, so I took off one star. The beef was a bit too much for us to... handle. I would order a vegetarian dish. I had the morel mushroom pasta special, and it was outstanding. I ate all of it,that’s how good it was. Their bread was also super delicious. My husband ordered the cannelloni with beef, which we think iswhat gave us some stomach woe It was my husband’s birthday, and they gave us a bit of champagne to celebrate. Definitely aunique touch that I haven’t seen before. Service and ambience was incredible. Highly recommend. Read more

Food was great and the room we dined in was quite interesting--it was almost like a covered patio. Food was good but not... perfect. My fiancee got the lamb and it was very fatty. We would recommend the Gnocchi appetizer, although it was quite small. Read more

Casanova is Carmel's most unique dining experience. They have a Fascinating story of a table that most likely they go and dined... at. The food is very nice and the customer service experience was excellent! Read more

Enjoyed our meal here and the service. Although every 5-10 mins a waiter kept coming by to ask what he could take away - this... felt a little too rushed. We had our baby with us and would have appreciated if they had offered us a high chair - we had noidea there were any high chairs until right at the end of our meal! Read more

This was our second time going to this quaint ( architecture) and cozy restaurant and the experience just keeps going up a... notch every single time. Arriving right on time we were seated inside ( requested for the same) and were ready to order rightaway. We started with half a dozen oyesters that were absolutely full of taste and had some kick to them :). Followed that with the Gnocchi Casanova and were definitely left craving for more. The appetite was definitely building and we're ready to devoursome good fish. We ended up ordering the Dover sole and the swordfish. It was pretty impressive to see the de-boning of the solein such an elegant fashion. Definitely very well cooked and each of those had our taste buds wanting more. The sole came alongwith potatoes while the swordfish was served with tomatoes , a bit of veggies and a creamy sauce with Dill. They made for anamazing dinner which we followed up with some tea and Burnt cheese cake. This was definitely one of a kind experience and wewould love to be there as and when the opportunity presents itself :). Definite recommendation and the plus being that theirmenu keeps refreshing every so often which can never let you have a dull moment in their as far goes the options to choose from!! Read more
