I had to wait for centuries to get my food. Mediocre and expensive. I was freezing on the rooftop. The manager had a horrible... attitude, which was shocking-perhaps the worst I have ever experienced in a long time (even though the waiter was nice). I evenwonder if it had to do with the fact that I am a person of color. Anyway I definitely won?t recommend this place, especially forsomeone first visiting the town. Honestly, such a cute spot to grab a bite in Carmel. Rooftop deck with a few fire pits for when it's cold. Nothing super fancy,... but the pizza and bruschetta were lovely and we arrived just in time for happy hour, which was a nice surprise. Service wasfriendly as well. My wife and I wanted to try something new in Carmel. After going to dinner at Mediterranean restaurant, we headed to Vesuvio to... check out their rooftop lounge. It's a lively place with good drinks. It was freezing outside, but we didn't feel it because ofall the heaters and fire pits they have. This will be our new to place to go to after dinner when we come back to Carmel. Itdoes get packed quickly and they close at 11 pm. Read more
Great rooftop bar in Carmel. Tons and tons of heaters and firepits, cushioned chairs, plenty of room for big parties, and great... service. Only stayed for one drink but the music was great and the atmosphere was nice! Younger crowd compared to the dinner wehad downstairs. Read more
