The chipotle bbq sandwich on Texas toast was amazing! Bonus points for having peach nehi in the bottle!
Had a quick stay in area , needed lunch..... Our group was impressed with the atmosphere, the menu looked great too. 2 of us... had regular brisket sandwich and they were great, my son had Nashville Hot chicken and said it was awesome. I ordered MoreCowbell brisket, it sounded great and guy at counter claims it's his favorite....we'll total disappointment. The condimentswere tasty but the Texas toast was baby size and I got 2 small slices of brisket. Not even a meal. Everything else was good, just don't order Cowbell. Thx Read more
Waited an extra 20 minutes for a scheduled pickup, the brisket was cold and didn?t have sauce, a side was completely missing,... and instead of subbing chicken for the out of stock Turkey, we just got a plain chicken sandwich instead. This place used to befantastic but there is such a lack of attention to detail. Read more
We've eaten at City BBQ many times but this was our first experience with catering. We had to change caterers on short notice... for a birthday party with about 40 people. Temple was so helpful in getting everything worked out with 4 days notice. She evenrecommended we go with a lower cost option because our party was not large. Everything was set up exactly as we wanted and ourguests were all thrilled with the food. We will certainly recommend City BBQ to anyone for catering and consider them again inthe future for any appropriate event! Read more
I?ve had smoked meat ?Texas BBQ? all over the US and lived in Texas for 20 years. This is not good BBQ at all. The sandwich was... decent but the rest is definitely not worth it. Read more
This place is awesome. As soon as you walk in the sweet aroma of slow grilled meat tantalizes your nose. The staff greets you... with a smile. The menu is so extensive that you might have trouble deciding on what to order. Watching them crave and fill yourorder is a treat to your eyes. And the taste is mouth watering and delectable. Great tasting BBQ and friendly staff.. Their brushfire sauce is our go to. Ribs and cornbread were a bit dry for my liking but... the sauce on the side helped. We all really enjoyed the corn pudding though! A must side if you like corn. Read more
Our host Jennifer did an awesome job of helping us with our order offered me a taste of the colored because I wasn?t sure if it... would be spicy. She made sure I got to use my discount coupon and was just super helpful and kind! The food was great too! Read more
