Lack luster food. We ordered a gyro platter and a gyro sandwich. Hefty portions but food was cold with bits of the meat warm.... Seasoning was okay. The food temperature was really off putting. We ate in their outdoor seating. Inside was kinda dingy.Wouldn’t really recommend it. Maybe our timing was off? Saturday around noon. Read more

I like the food and the portions are large. The gyros is freshly carved and always hot. Some items, like the stuffed grape... leaves (dolmas) are not made in-house. They are okay but not great. Prices are a little high for a take-out place. Service isalways prompt and capable but not very engaging. Sometimes, it's a language barrier. Not a big deal. Any complaints I have mustbe minor because I keep coming back. Read more

What an amazing dinner tonight. The restaurant is clean, the staff is so friendly and the food is out of this world good! I got... the chicken shawarma rice plate and my husband the lamb rice plate. This is one of our favorite places! The food is so deliciousand so flavorful! We also had the baklava for the first time tonight and much like everything else we've had it did notdisappoint- amazing! We can't wait to go back... hopefully later this weekend! Thanks for the fantastic experience PapaFattoush! Read more

Amazing Halal food... workers are quite biased towards the chicken and gyro so I stayed within their recommendations. Glad I... did, Gyro with salad and got a gyro with fries Togo since it was so savory. Definitely will be back whenever I'm in the area.#Bismillah Read more

Papa Fattoush is my go to meditarranean halal takeout and dine in for 1.5 years now. Nestled in the heart of Carmel, their spicy... gyro salad (grilled meat ) is deh-lish-ush!!! They offer takeout through door dash and have a variety of vegetarian options suchas falafel, hummus, baba ganoush and spanakopita. All with your choice of spices. Reasonably priced, with huge portions.Friendly owner and great space to sit outside too in good weather days! Read more

I picked this place while visiting Carmel with my youngest sister and her husband, who’s half-Greek. It was just five minutes... from the hotel. I’ve passed this busy corner a few times and was surprised to not even notice this restaurant. In we went, andthe aroma greeted us before the staff did. Smelled soooo wonderful. The owner and his staff member had a friendly aura that addsto the mysticism of Carmel currently being America’s fifth-richest city, but having a noticeably small town charm. The threeof us ordered different items: a Gryo Platter; Lamb Kabobs; and Chicken Shawarma. Our plates were heaping full. The accompanyinggarlic sauce was da BAWMB. The homemade tzatziki sauce was authentic. The thick-sliced gryo meat had major street cred. We allgave high marks on our very flavorful dinner, with plenty of leftovers that I smashed on for lunch the next day. Great place inthe heart of downtown Carmel. Excellent! Read more
