I hosted a large party of 140 and Prime47 did a wonderful job! I can't wait for another event to partner with these... professionals! Elizabeth and the owners helped me curate every detail. At the event, their staff helped make sure everythingflowed easily. Hiccups on our side were easily ironed out. The food was perfectly cooked and presented. They payed attention toeach guest to made sure they felt like part of the family. After the event they followed up to make sure we were happy. I can'twait to host another large event with Prime47! This place is amazing every time I go. It is especially great for special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries; the service... is always fantastic and the food never disappoints. Scrumdiddlyumptious! From our arrival to our departure, EVERYTHING was perfect. We did not plan on eating here, it just... happened and we were not disappointed. Our waiter Mr. D was very pleasant and informative. He only added more smiles to ourevening. Thank you. Thank you for a wonderful dinning experience. Nice place for a fancy dinner. We went here especially because they serve Creekstone Halal steaks. Great presentation and... atmosphere with light live music and candle-light tables (with light up menus!). Recommend reserving ahead on weekendnights. The Lobster Mac and Cheese and Creamy Spicy Crab Chip appetizers were fantastic. We also really enjoyed the Prime 47platter mix. The Wagyu Kobe was soft and tender as you'd expect. The brownie with ice cream was maybe my favorite part - melt inyour mouth kinda brownie with such a great flavor. We devoured it even after all the rich food. Four stars because the servicewas subpar for such a nice restaurant. It took a long time for someone to even get our appetizer order. Then we were done withappetizers and sitting for a while before we finally stopped the server ourselves to ask to get our dinner order. Since thishappened repeatedly, we asked for the dessert menu when ordering dinner. We never received that, though, and had to again stopour server to request dessert after we'd finished dinner and been waiting. The overall ambience and food was great and servicewasn't terrible, but I would have expected better for a place like this. Read more
We celebrated my son's birthday here on a Friday evening. The restaurant went all out for us and made the birthday boy feel... extra special with a card, a gift certificate and dessert of his choice. Our dinner was beyond delicious, the drinks were strongand the staff were on point; not that I expected anything less. Prime 47 knows what they are doing, they want and deserve yourbusiness. Everyone we encountered, from the front door to all the waitstaff was courteous and professional. I highly recommendthe Carmel location, parking is easy and they have valet if needed. There's a nice ambiance here, lots to see when they are busyand none of it is chaos. I highly recommend reservations and if celebrating something special let them know! Read more
We sat in the bar area which was very loud because they had a poorly placed live performance occuring. Poorly placed because I... had to basically squeeze between the performer and other tables to get through to the restroom. Which leads me into the factthat the restrooms were disgusting. The set up is one where you are completely closed into a stall like a closet. This was aproblem because the bathroom was so full I had to use the handicapped stall and it had a non-functioning light so you couldn'tsee anything when you closed the stall door. The woman before me warned that I would need to use my cellphone light. That initself should've made me leave but we live 30 minutes from the restaurant, had a reservation and wouldn't find another that lateon a Saturday. Unfortunately, all of the food was lackluster to say the least. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. Mydrink was delicious, my partner said his was disappointing to be an 'Old fashion'. Prime 47 continues to be a consistent hit for any big event for my family. We went for our 5-year wedding anniversary and the... entire staff was ready to impress. Our servers Cale and Howie were attentive, fast, ready with descriptions, recommendations,pairings, etc. The server “D” who cut our Porterhouse table side answered all our questions and was quite a showman withknife skills, seasoning, and explanation. He also served us a house secret drink known as “The Ice Box” shot alongcelebration. The salads were very fresh with great dressings. I would recommend the field green salad over the basic housesalad. The candied walnuts in it were an amazing pairing with the cheese in it. The steak was divine with the smoked salt andbalsamic reductions that came with it. The tataki was a delicious couple bites but I failed to get the $20 value in 7-8 bites.I would have rather gone with the calamari, meatballs, or something heartier even with the large meal we had ahead of us. Thelobster Mac and cheese is a great side both in portion side and taste. The 3-4 times I’ve had it though, it has beeninconsistent with the lobster portion, creaminess, and pasta cook. This was our favorite one in a long time though. All in all,the huge meal we had for $300 was a great way to celebrate 5 years of marriage and we will be back for more celebrations in thefuture.
