Like many Hoosiers, I've had negative experiences with SNS in recent years. But my last few visits here and ordering from the... kiosk has greatly changed my perception of the brand. Burgers are hot and juicy, made correctly to order. The kiosk is actuallyreally usable, and there's even one that accepts cash if you're into that. The menu has really slimmed down, but that'sprobably something that was needed for a long time. This location is clean and efficient. Read more
Terrible drive up experience. Took 26 minute with no one in front of me at 10:50pm with a full staff working for a plain nothing... on it double burger and a large no ice root beer (because the milk shake machine not working, which is ironic considering thename Steak & Shake). Girl at window not at fault was young cook in back ground seemingly loafing not taking order seriously ?She said sorry she told cook 3 times what is he doing? Asked if I wanted to talk to mgr after waiting 30 minutes I just wantedto go as fast I could away from there. This is a second trip experience there will not be a third. Read more
We waited for roughly 20-25 minutes in the drive thru line to be greeted with a sign on the speaker stating that their milkshake... machine is down. Things break, sure, but why wouldn't you put the sign at the front of the store? We've had bad experiences withthis location before but this particular time has been the worse by far Read more
Update, Things have improved a lot. Management has much improved Mr Suarez does an awesome job, he's visible, interacts with... customers and shows that he cares. The food is also ????????????. Haven't been there for years, the last time staff werelamenting the management and the manager was incompetent. Giving them another try tonight I will report back later. Read more

THE worst steak ?n shake. The food is NOT good anymore. It?s never warm. Ordered this single steak burger? it had the SMALLEST... patty on it. No tomato, lettuce or mustard. I asked for everything on it. And as you can see, the cheese is not melted at all.Honestly.. just go for the shakes. Save your money and skip the food. Read more
Food was fresh and friendly staff! Got food at a timely manner. Only note the manager clearly upset with the chairs not in the... correct spot throughout the restaurant started tossing high chairs and tossing chair and tables aggressively muttering under herbreath frustrated. The staff just doesn't care anymore about their performance....I felt more like a huge inconvenience than a paying guest....and... I can only assume that they must have changed their cups/coke, I use to go through the drive-thru, anywhere I saw there was aSteak n Shake around, only to get myself one of their delicious Cokes in a huge styrofoam cup...yummy!!!
