The food is ok, I really liked the chili, but the Mac and Cheese is kinda dry. Overall, decent food. The problem is the lack... of service and bizarre drink menu. There was only one waitress, and she seemed nice enough, but she had to wait on all thetables and handle the door. I can see being short handed, but that wasn't the issue; there were at least two other staffwandering around at all times, only rarely doing any work whatsoever. The server seemed overwhelmed and confused quite abit. Also, they do the hipster thing where you don't get a menu: you just have to pick something based on it's sign on thewall. Considering most beers are named something cute, not descriptive, it's a dart throw. The ciders aren't listed at all, soyou just have to count on the waitress remembering what they have. It's an ok place, but it would be even more forgettable ifit wasn't so confusing. Read more
Everything was good. The food, the service, the beer, and the atmosphere. As we pulled up, I told my husband let’s go... somewhere else because there weren’t many cars. He said let’s give it a chance. I’m so glad we did. Try the bison chili.Ask for Tiphanie. She was very helpful and a great waitress. Read more

Great service, good beer and burgers. The blue cheese coleslaw is pretty darn good since they use purple cabbage. Lot more... crunch. It just needs more blue cheese! Good for small groups unless you like outdoor eating. You can get beer to go ingrowlers and cans cold. Helps eliminate an extra stop. Victoria is an awesome hostess. Thank you! I've been to this place 15-20 times over the last several years. Love the food and beer. But I recently went with my family (3... kids under 4) and I am disappointed to say I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome from the first step in. (and our kids were evenwell-behaved the whole time) Between the looks and the lack of friendliness, it was just plain awkward. Maybe it wasn't the kidsand it was just standard. Found myself in Indianapolis on a work trip and stopped in to Upland for lunch. Tried the tenderloin sandwich (I'm not from IN... so this was new for me) and it was great. The beer was excellent and the server was attentive and informative as well. I'lldefinitely stop in again the next time I find myself in the Indy area. Read more
Food and beer was good hence the reason for 3 stars, but waitress was really weird. We felt like she was not interested in... helping us, almost like we were an inconvenience to her. We did not order anything out of the ordinary, nor did we constantlyask for anything, but literally the couple of times our server came to the table, it came off like it was a big inconvenience toher.
